Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree

New album. Pretty hot.

There are some songs from it on their Myspace page. Myspace is down so I don't have the link, but find it.

Probably like http://www.myspace.com/falloutboy

Supreme Olajuwon 04-29-2005 05:49 AM

I like it. Better than the new Motion City cd (:()

Triple A 04-29-2005 05:50 AM

Haven't heard that one yet. Who else has a new album

Tornado 04-29-2005 06:03 AM

Sweet. i'll have to pick that up when I can find it in the UK.

Zelda 04-29-2005 12:03 PM

Hot Hot Heat which is decent I guess.

DL the Bloc Party CD. You might like that.

Danny Electric 04-29-2005 03:27 PM

I haven't heard the new Motion City CD yet. Any good?
Yeah download the Bloc Party CD.
I like the new Fall Out Boy stuff.

Myspace is back up by the way.

Supreme Olajuwon 04-29-2005 03:39 PM

The new Motion City cd isn't anywhere close to I Am the Movie. I dunno I guess it's not terrible but it's just such a letdown.

Danny Electric 04-29-2005 03:40 PM

That's a shame. They were awesome when I saw them live and I really like I Am the Movie.

Danny Electric 04-29-2005 03:43 PM

I know this is out of place but anyone know if Matchbook Romance have recently released or will release something new.

fonzy 04-30-2005 10:32 AM

think matchbook are recording

new fall out boy is ace.

i like the new motion city soundtrack more than the first.. i think. it's good.

the new starting line album is great, as is the new rocket summer

Triple A 04-30-2005 05:03 PM

Is the Fall Out Boy CD only 7 tracks or what

Danny Electric 04-30-2005 05:07 PM

No theirs twelve tracks.

Looking for boobies. 05-06-2005 04:52 AM

13 tracks actually... And I am addicted to "Sophomore Slump Or Comeback Of The Year".... for some strange reason, it just kicks ass. "Sugar, We're Goin' Down" is also great, but I had heard that a while before the cd was released.

Triple A 05-06-2005 05:07 AM

Yeah I downloaded the advanced release. Got the full album now.

Looking for boobies. 05-06-2005 05:12 AM

It's one of the cds that you can't stop listening to.

The Outlaw 05-06-2005 01:46 PM

!!!!

Loving this album actually. :$

Gonna pick up this album and Weezer as well.

diothoir 05-07-2005 09:27 PM

Bloc Party

Ry 05-08-2005 08:04 PM

The FOB record was a big let down for me, not "feeling it" at all, Take This To Your Grave was a lot better.

Deceit 05-10-2005 09:55 PM

I LOVE Fallout Boy. They are fucking awesome.

Silent 05-21-2005 12:54 PM

I am just listening to Fall Out Boy for the first time now.. has this guy sung for another band before or something? He reminds me a lot of Millencolin, but that's just me. I like the band though.

Looking for boobies. 05-22-2005 01:53 AM

I have no idea if he has been in another band before or not, but talking about sounding like Millencolin, I reckon Midtown are sounding like them more and more. Only with their latest album though.

Silent 05-22-2005 01:22 PM

You're right, Midtown is more who I was thinking of but I couldn't remember their name.

I disagree, I think they sounded more like Millencolin on Save the World, Lose the Girl and Living Well Is the Best Revenge than on Forget What You Know.

Looking for boobies. 05-23-2005 07:45 AM

Yeah? I've only heard LWITBR and Forget What You Know... They just sound more like their own sound on LWITBR in my opinion. I couldn't possibly tell you about the other two, so I'll take your word for it on those albums. ;)

mitchables 05-23-2005 08:46 PM

Save The World, Lose the Girl is one album, sorry. :$ Probably should have used italics or something fancy like that.

AareDub 05-23-2005 10:59 PM

The album is pretty good. XO is probably my favorite. There are a couple songs that I just can't listen to a lot though (a little less sixteen candles comes to mind).
