What do you think about this diva WWE has offered this past few months? If I remember correctly, Trish never was a wrestler until she got in the WWE in 2000 and now she's very watchable in the ring ( In terms of ring skills of course ). Maybe Hemme can get there one day. Is there any hope for her to improve like Trish did? I sure hope so. Then again I lost all hope I had for the woman's division when Molly left it. :( Will she get fired when the whole diva search deal is over?

I can see Christy Hemme being good in the ring in a few years.

Unfortunetly most us want a good wrestler now. We don't want to wait a few years.

Thats all fine and dandy but the fact still remains that they wasted a lot of tv time and money on someone when they could have paid any model to learn to be a wrestler. Its an especially big waste of time when they already had four pretty hot girls who are great wrestlers already (Molly, Trish, Gail Kim and Victoria).

You take int account that she is getting paid up to three times what soem of the actual wrestlers on the roster are making on the downside of their deal.....it's just fucked up. But the ratings were good enough that they're doing it again, so obviously a lot of people enjoyed it. So what do I know?

The WWE diva search was interesting, Christy won, but was hardly on Raw, whereas Amy Weber and Joy Giovani lost at were getting plent more air time on Smackdown, it looks like Christy will be fighting in the womens division from now on.

Shes a red head that acts like she has ADHD. Thats about it.

She MIGHT be in a few years, but here's the problem:

1) The fact is, not every woman is Trish. You may have noticed. She might be that good later on, but with the salary she's being paid, anf the way she's being shoved down our throats...

2) Trish has something you can't teach: Charisma. Now you can teach mic skills, but she could be as good on the mic as JBL, Angle, whatever, and I'd still prolly change the channel. Why? She's fucking ANNOYING.

3) They want a more T&A direction in the WWE. Hence yet another Diva search coming up.

And you should. That's why they ran the Diva Search as a T&A fest.

Anyway, she's not a wrestler. She's T&A, and the odds of her becoming another Trish are long against.

I'm sure Vince gets a cut of the Playboy shoots, or a straight fee. The $250,000 is probably like 1/2 or less of what Heff throws his way. This whole Diva search, ending with a Playboy shoot is a money maker for WWE.

We may claim to hate it, but as we've discussed before, the casual fans eat it up and that = $$ in Vinny-Mac's pocket.

We've all wanked while watching the diva search segments.

I'm not sure how much money it can be though. If it becomes too regular, fans of wrestling will get turned off (Casual fans) and those looking for a hardon will choose superior eyecandy elsewhere.

Except those who think chicks like Moolah are hot.

Can one even use the word chick when referring to Moolah?

Until Vince and/or Heff are convinced it's not a money maker anymore, they'll milk this cash cow. Afterall, their business is to make money.

True. And the diva shoots and the diva contest are a proven money maker. They give a boost to ratings and sales/circulation.

But long term, what the hell do you do with them? Right now, it seems like every week there's a backstage segment where anonymopus divas are standing around doing nothing and then a wrestler comes running into the room and they run off, or an out of control fight sends them scattering --basically they're like roaches. Go into a WWE dressing room, flip on a light, and Divas disappear under the furniture.

I'm going to assinate Heff and take over the Playboy mansion.

Then buy all of Vince's divas.
