I was going to point out that Triple H has been in the Main Event of every single Backlash since 2000, but then I remembered that we got a lucky break for one year with Rock vs. Goldberg...you know maybe Triple H isn't so bad.

Triple H has been main eventing almost every single PPV since he got a hold of that title.

I would like to see the buyrates for the Backlash PPV's that HHH main evented compared to the one he didn't main event.Would be interesting.

He tore is quad after after Judgement Day 2001 (the PPV after Backlash) but returned by Royal Rumble 2002...Triple H has been on every single Backlash card in history. The two times he didn't Main Event was in '99 (he was the the 3rd from last match vs. X-Pac) and again in 2003 (he was in the second to last match which was a 8 man tag match)

Ha just as i thought, the rates fell the more he main evented and then went up when he didn't! Rep for you for showing me that.

I don't know who much weight ratings reflect the person as opposed to the time which they took place. I mean 2 of the 3 highest rated Backlashes had Shane McMahon as Special Ref, SOOOOO...we could say that if Shane is reffing a match people will tune in. :shifty:

I don't remember that 8 man tag match at all, actually i don't think i watched that PPV.Got bored with Backlash after 2002, going to watch tonights though, i havent watched a PPV in fucking ages.

MY MISTAKE! It wasn't a 8 man, it was a 6 man with Triple H, Ric Flair, and Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels and Booker T...I don't know why i said 8 man, I was thinking 6...huh.

Oh now i remember it being announced. Never ordered the PPV like i said though. Who won it?
