Good crime shows.
 

Ala, Law and Order, Dragnet, CSI, etc. I'm asking because for a college course, I need to pick a specific crime show, watch it every week, and report on it. So, what's a good crime show??

I don't watch the shows you listed. But I watch 24, and The Shield. Both good stuff. Which are about cops/agents etc. I dunno. Shield isn't on until March though.

Does it pertain only to the police-side of crime?

If so, my top picks would have already been mentioned (CSI, Law and Order)

my uncle's family watches NYPD Blue religiously so I guess its good
it has Zack from Saved by the Bell on it

The actors from saved by the Bell are all esteemed for such quality that it CAN'T be bad with Zack Morris in it...:p

Touch of Frost is a great british crime show.

I quite Worlds Scariest Police Chases, if that counts :-\

The Shield, definitely.

It's the only one I got sucked into watching after seeing one episode.

No censorship, completely graphic scenes, and good ongoing storylines.

On Tuesday @ 10:00 PM on FX here.

24 is fantastic. I think it's the best drama on TV (and this is coming from someone who was a "West Wing" mark for four years until Sorkin left).
