i was just reading about this in the wrestlecrap book and it sayed that the wwf had a fued with the nwa in the 90s with jeff jarrett winning the nwa title can anyone tell me more about this?

Basically a few of them came into the WWF with the NWA belts and they were defended on WWF television.

If I remember Rock and Roll express brought in the NWA tag titles also.

More or less already talked about, only it should be noted that most of the "NWA Invaders" were actually just low level WWF contract holders with nothing better to do. Oh and Jarrett wasen't the NWA World Champ, he held the NWA National Heavyweight Title.

That was sad on so many levels.

I like how they vacted all sorts of NWA titles so they could put them on WWF wrestlers and call it an NWA invasion...only they won these NWA Title on RAW, and nobody ever fueded over them, and since they were under WWF contract they couldn't make NWA show appearances...so you had paper champs walking around (still jobbing in the WWF mind you). A move of pure genius by the NWA's part.

Oh and Bart Gunn and Hardcore Holly = Best Tag Team Ever! :shifty:

The Headbangers won the NWA Tag Titles.

Bombastic Bart and Bodacious Bob = :cool:

The Windham heel turn was the highlight of that.
