He demanded a shot at The Rock's title and the aforementioned dialogue took place during the altercation.

I'm convinced Kurt Angle started the "I hate pie" thing long before that 9/11 show.

I actually remember when The Rock was backstage with Angle around the time of the Alliance, he gave him milk and The Rock said "Thanks for the milk but bring some pie next time." and Angle said "OK, I'll be sure to bring some apple pie next time."
