Survivor All-Stars...
 

*Stands up, looks around the room, keeps head down, in a soft embarrsed voice* "I will watch Survivor All-Stars".

Ok, here's who they brought back for this, I was wondering when they'd do an all-star or "Champions".

The contestants are:

• Richard Hatch, winner of the original "Survivor: Pulau Tiga," along with Rudy Boesch, Sue Hawk and Jenna Lewis.

• Tina Wesson, winner of "Survivor: The Australian Outback," as well as her runner-up, Colby Donaldson, and Amber Brkich, Jerri Manthey and Alicia Calaway.

• Ethan Zohn, winner of "Survivor: Africa," plus Lex van den Berghe and Tom Buchanan.

• From "Survivor: Marquesas," Kathy Vavrick-O'Brien and Rob Mariano.

• From "Survivor: Thailand," Shii Ann Huang.

• Jenna Morasca, winner of "Survivor: The Amazon," and Rob Cesternino.

• Rupert Boneham, from "Survivor: Pearl Islands."


For some, it's clearly a case of trying to stretch there 5mins of fame, others, it's another shot at money. Ok, for all it's a chance to stretch 5mins and another shot at money.

My guess is you'll see some of the old champs and "heels" voted of early, such as Rich Hatch. I can't wait to get Rudy back... I think they should have brought back every openly gay castmember and put them w/ Rudi just to watch his head spin.

and yeah, they brought back a few of the "hotties" actually, I think 3 people they brought back were in playboy.

Jeri was in Playboy.

Jenna M. I think was in Playboy, I think she posed with that Blonde Gym Teacher from the same show.

Amber I thought she was in playboy, but now that I think about it... I think she did like Maxim and/or Stuff...

They already have posted the tribes.

Ethan, Rudy, Rupert, Jenna L., Jerri & Christine

Richard, Colby, Lex, Jenna M. Shii ann, Kathy

Rob C., Rob M., Tom, Alicia, Amber, Susan.

Looks like they did a good job of splitting the tribes to try and make then even.

Anything that involves thinking, I'd have to give the edge to the #2 team, and on Pure Stength, it's a tough call, Either 1 or 3, possible edge to #3, because they have the stronger women (Alicia and Sue could probably kick the ass of 1/2 the guys on the show).

Yeah even though I haven't watched since the third season, I will check it out.

Amber was ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT now Spokesperson

Sue was Truck Driver now TVG Channel correspondent

Colby was CUSTOM AUTO DESIGNER now Aspiring actor

Tina was "Nurse" now Motivational speaker - Now this one is funny, because Survivor listed her as a Nurse or a "CNA Nurse" and aperently the Nurses and their union didn't like this because a CNA is an assistant and not an actualy Nurse and they took offense to her being called a "Nurse"

Jerri - was ASPIRING ACTRESS/BARTENDER is "Actress" - She's had a few movie and tv roles.

Jenna L. - was Student now Aspiring actress - I think she had a short gig w/ MTV, but that's all I remember...

Ethan - Still has him as a Soccer player, yet, the last report of him playing was a cape cod team, in 2000 and they've since taken him off the alumni list.

i think it'll be interesting just because they've all gone through the game once allready as well having watched the others play it so they all have an idea about people's personalities and penchant for being underhanded/sneaky so it'll be tougher to advance or perahps fool people. it seems like they've added some of the more colorfull personalities and sh</>it disturbers as well as people i would've thought had good shots to win durring the intial run. should be entertaining.

So, on a "Survivor note" the 2nd runner up of the last how "Johhny Fairplay" who most consider the biggest "Heel" ever, going as far as having a friend lie about his grandmother dieing, so he could get an advantage.

Anyway, he would always quote wrestlers and claimed to be a wrestler. Well, he's going to be on TNA next ppv (I think it's TNA)

Rudy and Rupert in the same tribe? Sweeeeeet.

I think it'll be good, I get to see the best Survivor ever again LEX!

I watched the first 2 seasons and then the most recent one. I think the all star one could be good. The idea of 3 tribes instead of 2 is kinda cool.

Anyone watch tonight? Rudy got voted off. :( I haven't watched since season 3, but this is very interesting so far. Richard Hatch Rules. He acts like he don't even give a shit. LOL

Yeah, I watched it today for the first time since I was like 13. Rich is the mang.

Sad to see Rudy head off tonight, but he was hurting and they do need to stay afloat so the youngin's and Rupert will definitely help. And Richard is still the number one Survivor contestant - cocky (pardon the pun) and plays the game well.

I remember seeing the list for the first time of the 18 contestants and was surprised at how many winners didn't come along. I knew they wouldn't try to get Sandra (recent winner) but why Jenna? She's just annoying and eye candy - and not good eye candy. I would've loved to have seen Elizabeth (who does the View now, I guess) or even Colleen from the first one but they both refused. Even Johnny Fairplay would've been interesting.

Oh well, at least I have Amber :naughty:</i></font>

Man, with Rubert, Ethan, Jenna, and Jerri, I'm suprised Saboga sucks so much at physical challenges. But I do hope that when the merger rolls around, Richard, Rupert, and Boston Rob are all still on the island. That'll make for some funny stuff.

I haven't seen the commercial, but someone told me that the ad made it look like someone gets eaten by a shark or something. Obviously THAT's not going to happen, but do you guys remember when they made it look like someone was going to get mauled by an alligator a few years back, and then Mike just fell into the fire? It'll probably be something like that. Someone gets some kind of bad injury that isn't nearly as bad as what we're being led to believe.

Yeah I rememebr that, but Mike really got fk'ed up and had to leave the show. But I think it's probably going to have something to do with the shark, but it's probably just going to end up being that someone caught a shark and they all eat it.

Maybe it involves Richard, the shark and his nakedness...:shifty:

Jenna should have never came if her mom was about to die.....I'd rather see (evil) jon get voted off. I felt happy she got off when she did so she could spend time with her mother.

Yeah, they should of kept him around and gotten rid of one of the more stronger people, who was likely to go to the end. They should of gotten rid of the other Rob, who is a leader and does good in challenges, but are you there to win challenges or are you there to win a million. I would get rid of the "leaders" of the tribes real quick so they don't start gathering up a bunch of people on there side. Keep the weak, ax the strong.

I hope they do the thing where one guy gets to come back.

I don't get why they'd keep Sue over Rob.

Sue's far more annoying.

Rob's much smarter.

Athletic, Sue might be stronger, but it's probably close...

They probably paid the cast not to vote sue or rich, to keep it interesting.

Mother Fk'n Son of a Bit**, they voted off Rich Tonight. That sucks, he really made the game interesting and he was hillarious. But what a scam pulled by the tribe. Rich thought they were going Colby and BAM, see you later.
