Underrated guys on TPWW
 

Okay I never post threads here in the wrestling forum, but some constant bashing of certain wrestlers has just gotten annoying, so I want to see just how many people really hate these guys. Pick as many guys from this list as you think are underrated by TPWW.

Fuck I botched the poll. Well pick who you think is most underrated here at TPWW and voice further opinions in a post.

JBL. He isn't the greatest wrestler, but very few on tv entertain anymore since they're watered down, but he is very entertaining.

I think they are all underrated by most of TPWW, but I went with JBL just because he is so damn entertaining on the mic. HHH would probably be a very close second, followed by Edge and then Orton.

Edge right now because of the drama, but JBL over all.

Batista is over rated.

HHH, I know most people think he's the anti-christ of wrestling, but every time that guy comes on tv, he can just make me hate him so easily, and on top of it he can put on one hell of a match when he wants to.

I actually think most people on TPWW have a pretty good view of JBL and Trips. They bash JBL's ringwork and Trips politicking and the fact that he's stale.

So for this poll, I'll go with Edge. I preferred him more on Smackdown, but I'm not sure why so many people despise him now. He's not as bad as all that.

Edge. Cause I dunno... some people have been going around saying that he's bland. Personally, I always found him to be a good wrestler, and his current character I'm really getting in to.

It's kind of hard to be "underrated on TPWW" when practically everyone on TPWW praises you.

Anyway. I voted JBL, less because he's underrated, and more because he's the most deserving. Edge is shit, Triple H hasn't been good for a couple years (Though I believe he could be, you can't be underrated if you;re not doing good work) and Orton's not only MotR, but he still gets fellated by half of TPWW, even now that LC's pulled the RKO Bandwagon over.

Still, he's in no way underrated, since he's rated so damn highly. His ring skills need CPR, but he cuts promos like no-one else in the business.

You're right since he lost the title people have stopped bashing JBL so much, but when he was champ many people on here acted like he killed their dog or something. That's why I voted for him.

No, most people were praising his mic skills. You don't praise an underrated wrestler.

Loose Cannon even dug up a thread from a year previous with so many people were all over how great he was.

I like HHH and JBL, as well as Orton...But I'd like to see Edge go places. HHH, JBL, and Orton have had title reigns. Edge hasn't...so I'm all up for giving him a chance. I think he's entertaining as heck.

but yeah. They praised him for his strengths and panned him for his weaknesses. This isn't underrated at all.

I think if he was a little better in the ring, he could be one of the best PERIOD.

I went with Trips just because everyone seems to focus on his backstage antics. I must admit I'm very guilty of that as well. Of the people listed only Trips has been involved in Match of the Year Candidates as a solo act.

Granted Edge vs Eddie a few years back on Smackdown (the no DQ match which everyone thought was a ladder match) was fucking amazing.

JBL has a great gimmick and is wonderful in his role, however it is hard for me not to notice the gimmick similarities to Ted DiBiase, who was the total package in my opinion.

I wanted to vote for both JBL and HHH. JBL has turned out to be god on the mike. Who would have thought it, back in his APA days, he sucked, now he is the driving force on Smackdown. Also, HHH gets bashed way too much.

Anyway, if we're talking about underrated talent, it should go to someone who is actually...You know...Underrated.

Like Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, MNM, And John Cena. None of them gets enough respect...<</>/Mayo>

I personally think JBL is OVER-Rated by TPWW. As for the other three, I personally think they're all under rated by the fine people of TPWW, but that's mostly because of mass psychology. One person says "Meh...Orton isn't the best of all time, and his backstage antics are shameful, but I can live with it." but when you make a thread about it, a mass of people get together and it goes downhill. So in that way, sometimes we get a little bit on a Jericho kick and he may seem a little over rated by our posters. Same with Batista and Christian. I don't know...these "over rated" "under rated" things are kinda confusing.

Edge, I've always liked him as a performer.

I voted Triple H, although I'm against him hogging the title, I still think he has his moments when he's great, not so often, but he does have them. Edge is under-rated by TPWW too, he is a good worker IMO, I think everyone hates him because of the Matt Hardy/Lita situation, admittedly, I do too. JBL is great on the mic, but his wrestling is pretty bland.

Yeah, because nobody was hating Edge before that shit started. :roll:
