Piped in cheers...
 

I've noticed that when the WWE pipes in cheers, it's ALWAYS the same sound. There's one higher-pitched 'fan' who yells, like a woman's voice, and if you listen carefully, you can almost always hear it when they pipe in crowd response.

You almost never hear this on live PPVs or RAWs, but it's always used on SmackDown! and I believe I've heard it on PPV DVDs...

Yeah, there's no real point to this thread other than proof that the WWE pipes in cheers...

I notice and have noticed that similar sound for a while. Its annoying and pathetic if they cant get enough heat on tv and have to pipe in the cheers

They pipe in Cole's voice. Why not cheers?

Yeah I really noticed the edited cheers from the UK Raw. As well as the edited out cheers. It's like a damn laugh track.

You know who has piped in cheers? Watch an old "Wheel of Fortune" on GSN. The sound is similar to ocean waves, constantly repeating the same sound over and over until you just want to grab Pat Sajack and feed him to a carnivorous plant or something.

Smackdown has pipes in cheers too? Hmm..............................what's Smackdown?

I wish someone would pipe in cheers everytime I entered a room :shifty:

I always get a big "pop" whenever I enter a room.

But anyway, does anyone remember when the first piped in cheers took place? The first time I remember piped in anything was in WCW when they first started piping in "Goooooolddbeeeerrrg".

People are sheep. You pipe in "Goooldbeerg" a few times and then they start doing it on their own.
