Nothing against Jones but Juggernaut was a pretty hefty guy....

mitchables 05-08-2005 01:19 AM

Nice. I actually had hopes to see Juggernaut on screen, especially with the ties he has to Xavier. I just hope they don't botch him up like they did with Sabretooth. So much unused potential in that character. :(

I would like to see Apocalypse, too.

Computer generation?

Juggy was like over 7 feet tall, built like a brick shithouse, etc.

You're not gonna find someone that big and built easily anyway.

Now Cain Marco was not so big.

Ninti the Mad 05-08-2005 01:26 AM

HELL YES

JUGGERNAUT F'N RULES

Yeah, but then, Kitty Pryde wasn't 12, Colossus wasn't a student, Logan looked after Jubilee, not Rogue, and Rogue wasn't a student. :$

mitchables 05-08-2005 01:32 AM

Also, Iceman didn't suck so much, and Banshee was a guy.

Was that Banshee? I assumed it was Siryn or however the fuck she spelled it.

Banshee's cousin.

mitchables 05-08-2005 01:38 AM

I thought the same at first, but for some reason I remember seeing her credited as Banshee. :?:

Could be my imagination. :$

Even so they still sort of resembled the original character and kept the same powers. You cant have a guy named juggernaut and not be a big guy. It would be the same if Luke wilson played colossus.

John la Rock 05-08-2005 02:43 AM

could work

KEVIN NASH! The super shreader!

Eunos 05-08-2005 09:27 AM

*Marks out* Juggernaut rules. :y:

All we need now is Gambit and this is a must see for me.

Danny Electric 05-08-2005 09:44 AM

I thought it was Siryn too and wasn't Siryn, Colussus's sister?
The one that dies from the virus?

Danny Electric 05-08-2005 09:49 AM

Sorry, I was mistaken. Siryn is Banshee's daughter, I though that was Siryn in the bed too.
Colossus sister was Magick.

Seriously I want them to introduce the Hellfire Club, if they are going to continue with the Phoenix angle.
As I've said before they seem to be following more of the storyline from the Ultimate X-Men series, in which Jean Grey evolves into Phoenix.

The Destroyer 05-08-2005 09:52 AM

Yay for the character, boo for the actor. Plus I can think of villains I'd much rather see, but hey, it wouldn't exactly be easy to do characters like Apocalypse...

YOUR Hero 05-08-2005 04:30 PM

Cool.

Loose Cannon 05-08-2005 04:57 PM

Yes, I went into that link saying "I hope it's Juggernaut" and my wish was granted. I thought it would be him, cause he was one of the more popular ones.

I'm waiting for Apocalypse though. And that whole saga.

In this age of computer animation, they can do anything.

Fryza 05-08-2005 05:02 PM

Lol, I love that guy, but I don't remember Juggernaut being English...

loopydate 05-08-2005 05:56 PM

It makes sense, though. If they have a Scottish actor playing Charles, they should have someone else from the UK playing Cain.

YOUR Hero 05-08-2005 07:49 PM

Let us dissect this movie. It's yet to be shown, however that should not be a hurdle.

Boondock Saint 05-08-2005 07:56 PM

Vinnie Jones is awesome

I don't remember Rogue being Wolverine's charge.

And this is closer to the actual story, since Charles and Cain are half brothers.

Especially since they've BEEN doing it.

Patrick Stewart's from Yorkshire, not Scotland.

YOUR Hero 05-08-2005 10:02 PM

No, he's from France.

Kane Knight 05-08-2005 10:22 PM

Does it really matter?

YOUR Hero 05-08-2005 10:29 PM

Jean Luc Picard.

now they really need to bring in gambit to raise the awesomeness of the movie

It matters to me, I can't really see how someone can think someone so blatantly English is from Scotland. :p

And hey, like nationality and accent even matters in X-Men, just look at Brian Cox's rather hit and miss effort at a Southern US accent in X2.
