I Haven't Been This Pissed Since Katie Vick [SmackDown! Spoilers]

Why? Why the fuck do they have to ruin the single greatest all-around wrestler since Bret Hart with a "kinky sex" angle with Booker T's wife, Sharmell.

I didn't read the spoilers so I didn't get to prepare myself for the sting, but not only did the promo have the foul stench of wrestlecrap but it was redundant. He said he wanted perverted sex with but not any kinda perverted sex but BEASTIALITY SEX. Now personally, I never knew beastiality sex was interchangeable with "rough" but apparently the ignorant asses the WWE calls writers think so. If this ruins Kurt Angle, I will lose all faith in the WWE.

Ol Dirty Dastard 05-12-2005 11:02 PM

I think he's just trying to mock Sharmell, or that's the idea. HEADGAMES

but yeah it's pretty dumb

The One 05-12-2005 11:06 PM

I guess I am not too upset about it...it's piss poor writing, but I don't think this will ruin Kurt...hell he has had a feud with Big Show over condoms.

Shadow 05-12-2005 11:08 PM

Oh yeah. This is a great angle. And to think I thought this was something all new. But it's not.

Think about it. Replace Booker T with Taker, Sharmell with Sara and Kurt Angle with Lesner. We've seen all this before!

Gouda 05-12-2005 11:12 PM

Kurt wants to have sick perverted sex with Sharmell.

I want to rip her voicebox out so I won't have to hear her voice again.

M. Banana 05-12-2005 11:43 PM

We all know we'd hit it with Sharmell.

Hired Hitman 05-12-2005 11:46 PM

So when they were in the lockerroom alone, Angle was making funny faces?

M. Banana 05-12-2005 11:53 PM

Wait, I never saw the Taker/Sara/Lesnar angle...

So someone tell me..

What does Sara look like?
:shifty:

Meh, figured she'd be at least somewhat hot.

DDP CLEARLY paid more attention to Sara back in 2001...that or DDP cross breaded with Vince McMahon's voice... :shifty:

The Cock 05-13-2005 12:29 AM

Just saw the promo right now. Weird.

The Cock 05-13-2005 12:36 AM

and yes this could ruin Kurt Angle.

Yeah but this fued was in like...2003 or something. I dunno...when was this fued?

The One 05-13-2005 12:39 AM

If you read my post you can clearly see 2001...

Shadow 05-13-2005 12:40 AM

Yeah...2002. Go me.

The Cock 05-13-2005 12:40 AM

2001 before Invasion or "InVasion" (yeah that capital V helped that angle a whole lot)

Shadow 05-13-2005 12:41 AM

The fued I'm talking about was Lesner/Undertaker back in 2002.

Amaroqwolf 05-13-2005 03:07 AM

It wasn't really much of an angle. Brock went into Taker's Locker room where "Sara" was, She was Pregnant at the time, and he got all in her face touching her stomach and such and stated. "Lifes a bitch," or something along those lines. Then Taker came in and ended up getting smacked with a chair.

Mr. Nerfect 05-13-2005 05:02 AM

I personally don't think Kurt Angle's comments this week were about Sharmell, but more about Booker T.

Hopefully on the last show before Judgment Day, we hear Angle cut a promo about how Booker T's company sank, so he came over to the WWE, just as Angle was finding himself. Then Booker tried to ruin Angle's career, to which Angle responded by infiltrating the Alliance, and destroying it from the inside.

Then Booker T came back, and just as Angle was about to become six-time World Champion, Booker T annihilated that vision before Angle's eyes.

Angle then describes the chair shot Booker T gave him like no other, and that it wasn't blunt steel he felt, but a sharp blade which tore up his insides. Angle then says he's making this personal, because Booker T has always made things with Angle personal, so Kurt's going to kick his ass personally, kick his ass professionally, then snap his freakin' ankle.

Have Angle close by saying he doesn't want to destroy Booker T, but he has to do it. It is a need. When Angle lost to JBL in that Fatal Fourway Match, it wasn't because he couldn't kick out of the chair shot Booker T gave him, it was because he can't become WWE Champion with Booker T around.

I don't know why, but I can see something like this making a really good feud. Angle doesn't hate Booker T personally, he hates him professionally, to the point where he will turn his private-life upside down just for the sake of it. Make it seem like neither guy can win the title with the either guy there. Sort of like opposite powers which cancel each other out.

I'm not sure how that would turn out, but this is how I'd have the feud turn heading into Judgment Day.

M. Banana 05-13-2005 07:49 AM

I could beat Undertaker.

:shifty:

Lamuella 05-13-2005 10:25 AM

that part of the angle was dumb as hell. If they'd just replaced that one bit with him being "obsessed" with her, the angle would be good.

See, that would require common sense, of which the writers possess none. It's a great idea tho (similar to what he said about HBK in principle but still effective), and that could save it.

But they won't do that. Instead, next week, we'll see Sharmell reveal that she's pregnant and it could be Kurt's child.

Four months later, Mark Henry makes his dramatic comeback....

It turns out Sharmell has triplets. Two hands a foot. Gene Snitsky then comes back and kills them and debuts his new catchphrases "Can I give you......a HAND?" and "I'm putting my......FOOT.....down.". Then from the photos looking back at the short time Sharmell spent with the kids, it is revealed one of the hands was in the "five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time, five-time..." position indicating it WAS Booker T's child. This leads to Booker T & Mark Henry vs. Kurt Angle & Gene Snitsky. :(

darkpower 05-13-2005 07:22 PM

Hmm...

for a second, when reading the subject line, I thought this was going to be more about the direction the Eddie/Rey feud is now taking, "I'll have your LIFE!!"

Damn, the CHILLS..

But anyway, I'm not that concerned about this angle. Kurt can make ANY angle (no pun intended) watchable.

But...if he said he wanted to have perverted sex with Maria...THEN I would have problems. :p

James Steele 05-13-2005 07:33 PM

I would ruin Maria. :p

Actually, I think Eddie/Rey is going to a whole new level of "snapped" gimmick and it is really weird. I literally had goosebumps during Eddie's promo. I hope HHH took notes on how to promo while sitting in a chair in the ring.

Mr. Nerfect 05-13-2005 07:43 PM

Damn that Eddie promo was awesome. Usually while watching promos, my mind ticks off things I'd like to har the wrstlers say to really capture their point, but Eddie Guerrero hit everything on the head so perfectly, I was just in awe of how good it was.

The whole "I'll have your life!" part of it sort of works, as it makes it look like Eddie Guerrero's lost control of his choices.

Next week, what would really be awesome is a promo where Eddie Guerrero discusses his past, and how he's been addicted to drugs, and how now he's addicted to another drug. His drug of choice, the drug he has been searching for all these years, is Latino Heat. At Judgment Day, he won't blink, he won't resist, he will endulge his senses in Latino Heat, and he will turn Rey's pain and destruction into pleasure and fulfillment.

Eddie can then say part of him wants Rey to turn up, so he can feel what he wants to feel again, but out of the friendship he holds for Rey, he doesn't want him to have to suffer through this again. Eddie then leaves the choice up to Rey.

Yeah, Hunter's gonna need a chair to do his promos from when he's 95 and STILL the Heavyweight champ.

darkpower 05-13-2005 08:04 PM

I enjoyed the Eddie promo, too, don't get me wrong. Gave me a sort of feel that I was watching the reincarnation of Tony Montana there.

olympic hitman 05-13-2005 10:22 PM

The Guerrero promo was probably the high point of SmackDown overall.....

But, I was shocked with the whole Angle promo. I didn't think the WWE would allow their wrestlers to say the word "sex" on-air, but, they did. And you wonder why Sting doesn't wanna come to the WWE? Just further proof of what he said about the WWE not being a family oriented show.

I just hope it doesn't ruin Angle's character by making him look "psycho" as it was clearly said by Angle on SmackDown. He said something along the lines of "people will probably say I have some kind of psychological disorder or something". That's pretty clearcut proof of where they are going with Angle's character. If he's pushed as a "psycho" it won't work. Typical WWE stuff though. Once they run out of material, they try to use something dumb....
