I mean shit like this has been done in wrestling for years.

Matt is stupid or has been getting into Jeff's stash if he thought the WWE wasn't going to turn the love triangle into an angle.

But this was bound to happen. And Matt did do his part to push this angle, even though it was inadvertant. If he hadn't made such a big fuss publically, it wouldn't have caught on with the fans, who wouldn't have booed Lita and Edge, which wouldn't have paired them togeher (probably).

Still, it does suck for Matt.

Now I realize why Matt liked Lita so much, he's a dumas too.

He's the euivalent of Britney Spears bitching about people following her and she cant get any privacy, and then makes a reality show where we follow her every movement.

Matt's a goof.

I actually like that they put them together....only for the fact that well if you go back and look at the whole orginal Lita Cheats on Matt thread I was one of the first...if not the first to say that I bet WWE uses this to put them together. Just goes to show Vince cant pass something up.

I also like Edge and Lita even after what theyve done....so Bite Me

you can't make it in the business world if you are going to be sentimental and sympathetic, you have to look at everything from a technical stand point

keeping lita face when she is getting booed would be stupid, turning her heel in any other way would be stupid because she would be getting heat for different reasons

Vince saw that technically, only 1 person would be negatively affected by this (he wants the fans to hate edge/lita) and that person is (conveniently) no longer an employee, so why should he care?

Although I feel sorry for Matt, I would have made the same decision, anyone who wouldn't, would never get to the position Vince has gotten to, let alone survive at that position.

Vince can easily get heat from the marks, maybe he saw this as an opportunity to finally get real heat from smarks.

Or maybe this entire thing is a huge work.

What happened to Matt was shit, but come on the minute the chants started everyone and their mother knew Lita and Edge were going to be put together. Yeah it sucks that it happened and the minute they kissed on RAW I thought "man Matts got to be pissed right now", but if I was in the shoes of the WWE, I'd do the exact same thing. I wanna see how they'll explain it next week.



AND if this is a work, Matt must still work the ROH show on 7/16...Innovator needs to see Hardy/Daniels.

Vince is a mastermind at taking legit heat and turning it into an angle...

Vince was HATED for what he did to Bret, give a promo that "Bret screwed Bret", make yourself as an asshole boss and BOOM. Everyone kind of forgot that you are an asshole in real life, or if they don't forget they find the storyline asshole much mroe interesting and focus on that.

Edge & Christian are hated for what they did to Matt, put them together to screw an actual on air character, and BOOM. Everyone will soon forget that Matt was the victum and marks shift their attention from "I heard from someone that Lita cheated on Matt" to another mark saying "No it was Kane" confusion insues and before you know it we all hate Edge and Lita because their gimmick tells us to.

Though I am sure that smarks will always hate Lita and Edge for the Matt-Factor, at least Vince has done his job of entertaining marks with storylines.

I'm going to get a picture of Edge and Lita kissing and put that in my signature over at the Matt Hardy message board.

LOL, I hope Edge and Lita make these "subliminal" (can't think of a better word) comments that reference the Matt thing, but in story it's referencing the Kane storyline.

Which would be great if not for the fact that this is an entertainment business, where you have to factor in consumer reactions.

The problem is that you disregard the human factor, since this is a business, but disregard the notion of all the factors within the business. If this were sheerly a business, and you had to look at things from a technical standpoint, the crowd would be moot.

If I was Matt, I would feel like shit. Me, personally, I don't care for those two. At least this means I can ignore Lita and Matt at the same time and not at separate times.

I just wonder where the WWE will go with this, though I will tell you, when they mention Matt's site, it will officially be a work.

I kind of hope this gets Lita and Edge "Lesnar/Goldberg" heat.

I hope people just flat out ignore them after this.

There isn't a way for "good" heat to come out of this.

i dont think it will give them Goldberg/Lesnar heat just for the fact of what the fans have been doing already. Sure it would be nice to see that happen and pretty funny but I just dont see it.
