Lita has apparently voiced concerns about her controversial new storyline with Edge, but understands that she must oblige given the company are against talent refusuing storylines for personal reasons when there is money to be made.

Of course she would be against this storyline as it airs her real-life dirty laundry, but whenever the WWE sees a chance to blur the line between entertainment and reality, you can bet your bottom dollar that they're going to exploit it. That's what the entire WWE is based on.

Furthermore, I really don't think that Lita and Edge should be 'punished' so-to-speak, by the WWE for what they did (and obviously, they are not being punished). Of course whatever happens with Matt and Edge's wife is one thing, but their affair was something that they personally chose to partake in. They were not intending to harm the business or anything. Just acting on emotion.

I don't doubt she feels awful. No matter if I hated an ex, I wouldn't want to rub my current relationship in their face. That's just me. It's a pretty classless act on the WWE's part IMO, but hey, it will probably make some money and that is all that is important it seems. I'm pretty sure Edge doesn't feel the greatest about this angle either.

Think about it, he won the money in the bank so he's going to get another title shot even after this one, he got the girl he wanted, and now he's rising up to the top and is obviously going to get the title at some point, so i don't see what problems he would have.

Well Matt Hardy said himself in an interview on BTR a couple of weeks ago that he still talks to Lita and is on good terms with her. So I guess that would be why.

As for Lita being upset, who cares? She should be happy she still has a job given her overall lack of talent. And the fact that her actions got Matt fired should be upsetting her more than getting an angle that puts her near the main event.

As to whether or not it alters the situation, she SHOULD be upset, but that doesn't change anything. Still, there's kicking someone, then there's kicking them when they're down, taking a shit, and rubbing their face in it.

So if the storyline demanded that she murdered somebody, for real, she would go through with it because "there's money to be made". A bit extreme. I know but some of these people need to learn some self respect. I wouldn't work for a company that are taking advantage out of my personal life. I certainly wouldn't endure it anyway just because "there's money to be made".
