Its pretty simple actually. Unless i'm mistaking, JBL was involved in a storyline in which he was called " WWE Champion". Storm , at the time was a WWE trainer. Who do you think would be more likely to be fired? The WWE Champion or the OVW trainer?

No, I was on Storm's side. JBL and Hard-core wanted to fight. Storm could have defended himself and wouldn't have gotten into any problems with McMahon. If he did, so what? He was planning on quitting anyway.

And if a customer accused me of something that was not true....I.....[unlike that 18-year old Subway manager who hates old people]....would handle it in a professional manner. However, if he challenged me to a fight, I'd try to talk him out of it at first but if he kept provoking me then I would gladly step out into the parking lot with him.

Harassment is one thing, physical altercation is quite another. I would assume from that passage that no punches were thrown. If JBL hit first, then yes, Storm should have and more than likely would have fought back, but it was only words, and he was the bigger man and did the right thing. There was no reason for Storm to throw a punch other than to 'look tough'.
