I wish I was young enough to play with wrestling figures

Then I would buy this:

Dream ring right there

Jaton 05-26-2005 06:59 PM

Buy it anyways. I'd play with them if i had time. I still have mine.s

Shadow 05-26-2005 07:02 PM

I play with Transformers all the time. Go ahead and buy it. And play with it. Alot. That's what I would do.

SuperSlim 05-26-2005 07:34 PM

I would buy that too

RGWhat316 05-26-2005 07:46 PM

I got a friend that is constantly buying figures, and doing matches with them, and he's 20. Maybe I should tell him about this.

The One 05-26-2005 07:49 PM

I buy alot of figures, I set them up in cool poses and then really never think of them again until my son tried to eat them. :p

Gouda 05-26-2005 08:14 PM

... I want one. I shall not be bound by the recommended ages!!

Hired Hitman 05-26-2005 08:15 PM

I would rather a RAW ring :o

Marcyo 05-26-2005 08:36 PM

I want a Viscera action figure.

carrythezero 05-26-2005 09:56 PM

YES, that is awesome. I still like the older style Jakks figures better though. The 6" ones that were mostly like rubber with the hard plastic head. Now they are all plastic and they aren't as cool. I have sooooo many old 6" Jakks figures its unbelievable.

Cool King 05-26-2005 10:01 PM

Hey I'm going to be 16 in July and I still play with wrestling figures.

Buy them! So your 20 who cares.:D

If I had some money I would probably buy that.:y:

gyps213 05-26-2005 11:26 PM

ok...I'm almost 40...and I'm a chick...and I play with action figures all the time!

Corkscrewed 05-27-2005 01:57 AM

I could think of a dozen bad jokes to follow ^ with... but I won't. :shifty:

IT'S MAVEN TIME!

PureHatred 05-27-2005 02:16 AM

Also, the weird thing abut my childhood; when I was young enough to have action figures, I hated the WWF ones (either the big rubber ones or the cartoony ones with the spring action crap). So all my GI Joes ended up dropping their weapons and becoming wrestlers. Snake Eyes, Road Pig, Sgt Slaughter, Big Boa...good stuff

KayfabeMan 05-27-2005 03:27 AM

To anyone planning on getting this ring:

You may want to wait on getting it. I understand that later this year JAKKS will be releasing the same ring [possibly with different aprons], but along with it will be 2 exclusive figures - a Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, supposedly custom the set & also a first ever figure of the late Gorilla Monsoon [one of my favorites].

I have just about every single JAKKS Classic Superstars action figure; only missing HHH from Series 1, Jake Roberts, and Jimmy Snuka [those two I'll be picking up at TRUs soon, before they pull them all off the shelves]. I keep them all in the boxes, however, I do still play with the loose figures on occaision. Gotta have fun :)

The One 05-27-2005 05:53 AM

I can recreate Royal Rumble 1992...Whoooooo!

Londoner 05-27-2005 06:01 AM

Not inteested in action figures personally, though i have got an undertaker one, i quite like it but its always just left up there on the shelf.

Ska-Wars 05-27-2005 06:59 AM

I saw that ring a couple of weeks back, it looks really cool. Its times like this when I wish I had some money...

I keep seeing the Triple H everywhere on the net, including Highspots. (where I ordered the ring from) At the moment I've only got Mankind, Undertaker (ministry) and Bret Hart (all pink) from the classic superstars. Gonna be getting Yokozuna any day now and will be getting Shawn Michaels and British Bulldog when they get released.

Fenix122 05-27-2005 11:06 AM

I have a Triple H figure...and believe me he's the biggest jobber on the roster.

go right ahead - I can take it!! In addition to being a little mental, I'm a pretty tough bit...um, girl.

of course, I never mentioned the...intersting and unusual positions most of my action figures are in...or the fact that Jeff Hardy is wearing a Barbie dress...

Goulet 05-27-2005 11:41 AM

I've got the Mankind/Taker Classic superstars set, I also have Yoko, Flair, Jake, DiBiase, Piper, Warrior and George the animal Steele (the figure is actually hairy)

Shaggy 05-27-2005 12:05 PM

<----- 19 and Still plays with all the wrestling action figures

Ive got like tons of them in a giant box and ive got stuff from the Titan Tron Entrance Ramp.....to the Backstage stuff....to a bunch of different rings....to the Elimination Chamber

I usually play with all the packs except the ones that I have hanging on my walls...which is only a 2 pack of Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart.

Kane Knight 05-27-2005 01:24 PM

Look at it on the bright side. If you were young enough to play with wrestling figures, you'd be young enough to date Michael Jackson.

Loose Cannon 05-28-2005 08:24 PM

wow, when did they make all those classic guys? Some of those guys go back to the LJN days

Loose Cannon 05-28-2005 08:29 PM

LOL, Oh shit

You have the same Undertaker one as me.

Fox 05-29-2005 03:14 AM

Damn. I wish they'd had this about 5 years ago when I was still having wrestling matches on top of a fucking shoe box. Oh well. I have a girlfriend now, and sometimes she lets me play slip-n-slide. Much better than playing pro wrestling action figures.

 Same here, except I used X-Men. The day Cyclops used his eye laser on his own partner was one of the biggest swerves EVER!!

Oh, and Spawn + Medieval Spawn = The best tag champs ever.

Does he come with 'realistic glass ceiling' and 'backstage bitching action'?

No seriously, action figures are like fat chicks. Great to play with, but if your mates see you with one, you're fucked.

KingofOldSchool 05-29-2005 02:19 PM

There are a lot of them I want, but I don't want to spend the money on it plus I have no where to display them.

Although I will be getting the Bobby Heenan one coming out soon.

I had Cyclops too, but he was more in an Eric Bischoff/Vince McMahon type of role, with an ongoing feud with Gambit.

Spider-Man and Venom were actually the best tag team champs ever.

Savio 05-30-2005 01:28 AM

I had gambit, bishop, some dude with white hair, 3 Wolverines, um the Alien from the movie Aliens, Chris Candino, Sting, 3/4 Swamp this, the monster with one eye from Small soilders, and probably some more.

The dude with the white hair got in an inferno match with bishop and his hair turned yellow.

Chris candino got messed up with fire crackers and a homemade blow torch.

Everyone one else was thrown away but I think I have sting some where.

Gouda 05-30-2005 01:47 AM

I remember I had two Miss Elizabeths. One got scuffed up and stuff.

.....

So I turned to scuffed up one into Sheri. :shifty:

You're a turd.

I could never find a good Venom action figure...but I did have a nice combination of Ben Reilly Spiderman (in the black and red costume) and the armored Spiderman. I don't know why, but my figures always mixed...I'd have Scott Steiner and Buff Bagwell teaming up on a Ninja Turtle, with a VR Trooper making the save.

James Steele 05-30-2005 01:57 AM

BURRRRRN!

Disturbed316 05-30-2005 04:15 PM

Hulk Hogan - Wrestlemania 1
Hulk Hogan - n.W.o.
Vader
"Cowboy" Bob Orton Jr.
"Classy" Freddie Blassie
Jerry "The King" Lawler
Bruiser Brody
