The Story Behind Dan

So what's the deal with him? I've heard some stuff... when I first played as him I was like, you've gotta be kidding right? And I thought he looked a lot like Robert Garcia from the Art Of Fighting games. I heard that Capcom made Dan as a joke for SNK. To prove that it is and will always be the better company as far as fighting games.

I dunno, what do you guys think? Overall I like Dan though. Not in Alpha 2 though.. I got owned by Sakura so many times...

It's Ryo's costume and Terry's face, They did it because in Art of Fighting Ryo was pretty much a rip off of Ryu. Dan's a good character if you can use him.

I always thought his small fireball was pretty hilarious.

I find it funny that Dan's projectile (Gadouken) is the same thing that Ryo does when he's all out of "spirit."

Playing Art Of Fighting 3 right now. :-\

Also, Yuri from whichever SNK game she'd from has similar moves and the same taunts.

She's pretty much the same thing as Sakura.
