System Shutdown
 

Everytime I start my computer I get that System Shutdown thing where it counts down and then shuts down your pc.

Does anybody know how to get rid of this?

It's the WORM. Any good antivirus will get you rid of it.

OK, to buy yourself more time change your clock back a day or 2.
get avg from www.grisoft.com and install it, make sure you have ALL important updates from windowsupdate. Then boot up in safe mode, run a virus scan and bobs your auntie

You can also stop the shutdown manually by clickin on the "Run" button, and then, in the field, typing "shutdown.exe -a". The -a is for "abort", and stops the shutdown cold.

Head over to the Microsoft site and there's usually a patch posted that you can download to get rid of the virus. I can't remember what the specific worm was called, but if you type "worm" in their search engine, you should be able to find the recommended solution.
