Rate the Tag Team - Day 3 - The American Males
 

Yo! Welcome to Day 3 of RTTT. Yesterday The Dudley Boyz scored a quite good 82. Once again I think they got what they deserved. Not the greatest in the ring but have accomplished a lot in the world of wrestling.

Today we have a team that may not be as well known to some. They are former WCW tag team champions. They had one of the worst entrance themes in the history of wrestling. They are Marcus "Buff" Bagwell and Scotty Riggs, they are The American Males.

Superslim...if they were a joke why give them a 6? That is one point above average. This is why I think you all have some weird fucked up rating system. Some of you say things like "useless" and then turn around and give them 7???

I think they were a joke, and as such they warrent a very sub-par rating of...

Marcus Bagwell's (lack of) talent brings any prospect of this team scoring highly crashing down from a great height.

In all fairness to Bagwell, he was very entertaining when he first started calling himself Buff.

Scotty Riggs was very ent--.....uhh, Scotty Riggs wore a bitchin' eye patch.

Not a huge Bagwell fan, but I think they - as a team - get underrated.

well as much of a joke they were, back then they were actually an average tag team. and they could actually move.

I mean I';m not sayin they were completely talentless cause they did have some talent. that's why I gave them a 6

well it's that sort of look that brought us the Billy and Chuck gimmick. :D

2, they sucked in the ring, on the mic, and all around.

Well, I cannot be fair about these guys because:

A: One of them became a pirate and the other brought us the exploits of Judy Bagwell...

B. You know the only good that came out of Judy Bagwell? Raven, in mention an appearance by Mrs. Levy, saying something to the effect that "she is always in it for the fame. She saw Judy Bagwell become Tag Team Champion so she'd try to go into the ring, Spear Goldberg, and become the World Heavyweight Champion."

C. The American Males Theme is the Worst. Theme. Ever. And it's stuck in my head now... Damn you!

D. The fact they look like the ambiguously gay duo, and not intentionally, and all they're mannerisms, didn't help things.

E. Did I mention that Judy Bagwell was an unforgivable sin?

They were bland and forgettable I'll give 'em a 1.

Actually, Buff is a product of Judy Bagwell, techinically speaking. And Judy Bagwell in WCW? That was a product of Vince Russo. I think one is unfair, but whatever, your vote.
