Rate the Tag Team - Day 4 - Power and Glory
 

What's going on TPDub? Welcome to Day 4 of Rate the Tag Team! The American Males scored a very low 39. "American Males. American Males. American Males. American Males." Good song though.

Today we have one of my favorite tag teams of all time. They didn't last very long together and they never won the tag titles. They looked to have a lot of potential until the Legion of Doom came and destroyed them in 59 seconds. They are managed by the Doctor of Style Slick, they are Hercules and Paul Roma.
This is Power and Glory.

I liked them, but didnt really accomplish much.

I loved Power and Glory. For some reason, I'm a big Paul Roma mark. BTW, is Paul Roma dead?

Anyway, if The American Males get like a 2 from most people, these guys should get around the same exact number, or maybe a little more. Out of decency, I say:

BTW, C99, obviously everyone can rate the teams on whatsoever - so I'm not knocking you for doing so, but in a business where what you can / can't accomplish is decided by the promoters and just about everyone else but yourself, it's not really fair to rank them on accomplishments. :(

Never really was a fan of either guy. They were a decent power team, and okish heels.

They weren't a power team. Hercules was the power wrestler. Paul Roma was...I dunno, glorifying. That was the whole schtick. GOSH.

....and on the forth day the same people who yelled disrespected him took part and cheered.

5 not great but i liked slick

Everyone's said it so far - didn't really accomplish much. All they had going for them was a cool manager and a fantastic finisher. Perhaps one of the best finishers ever in tag team wrestling. Right up there with the Hart Attack, the Decapitator and the 3D.

For this they score 6½.

The Powerplex makes me give them a 7
