Major RAW vs. SD! Match Scheduled For Future WWE RAW
 

In a promotional message sent out to WWE Mailing List subscribers, WWE confirmed an interbrand main-event for the 7/11 WWE RAW telecast. The event, which takes place at New Jersey's Continental Airlines Arena, will see Batista and John Cena take on Triple H and John Bradshaw Layfield.

The unprecedented match should help move tickets for that particular edition of RAW, which is already emanating from a very hot wrestling market.

Huh. I haven't actually been to a wrestling event in the Meadowlands, though I've seen a few in Trenton. I have to admit...this may draw me in. Their plan seems to be working - curse you, marketing and promotions department!

Also, does that mean it's one of those "supershows," or is it just Cena/Jibble crossing over? (Anyone know?)

By that time i can see JBL and HHH both having 'their' titles back.Any excuse to keep HHH in the main event i guess.

I thought Triple H and JBL were supposed to have some storyline beef against each other. I guess that's also being tossed away as well. ah well.

They can still team because they are both heels.

Its interesting because of the SD house show that same night.

What I could see them doing is having Cena and JBL work a match early in the show, for the house show, and then have McMahon fly them into Jersey for the end of RAW.

I dont know how long that would all take, but if you figure a RAW dark match wouldn't go on air till 11:15PM, it seems to work out.

If they dont do that, that really sucks for the people who go to see the SD house show.

I guess they could still team up then.
