Obviously this is great tho cause now it sets up a match between Hatton and the winner of Gatti/Mayweather. I can only pray that Gatti wins. Gatti vs Hatton could be epic.

The biggest names were Ben Tackie, Vince Phillips (only man to beat Tsyzu before last night) and Ray Oliveria. The credential arguement was fair but it should have also been noted that Kelson Pinto was due to fight Hatton and just didn't show up and gave no excuse. Vivian Harris has a shitty TV deal and used that excuse to refuse a fight with Hatton where he would have got paid $750k (biggest pay day of his career by a mile) and refused the money and fighting in England then he got on a plane to Germany to fought there for nearly 8 times less. Sharmba Mitchell also refused a fight. The biggest names all dodged him but Tsyzu finally stepped up (took the biggest pay day of his career by a mile too) and he is bigger and better than them all. People were using Hatton's previous opponents to say he wasn't world class. We have been saying he is for 4 years. And he is.
As for the British bias, obviously it's not all Americans so I do apologise for it but the majority of hardcore fight fans in the states don't like European fighters (somehow they forget where Tsyzu is from). They are still bitching about Tyson losing to Danny Williams. They still refuse to admit Lennox Lewis is one of the best heavyweights of all time. They refuse to take to Joe Calzaghe and Jeff Lacy is in for a big time beating later this year. That's if he even beats Robin Reid and I personally think it's a tougher test than people think it is.
I think there is a small chance that Gatti will come to England to fight Hatton (Hatton is the draw but I guess there is a chance he'd go to Vegas but not New York). Mayweather hasn't got the balls to fight Hatton. I'd rather see Miguel Cotto next though.

It's a shame when someone doesn't think the world revolves around America isn't it?
