How's your golfing going so far this year?
 

Damn, I can't get my fairway woods going. Got to get more practise at the range in I suppose. I've otherwise been doing 'ok'. Last year was a big break through year for me and I've got high hopes for myself development again this year. Trouble is, I haven't had the same opportunity this year to get in as much practise, let alone games this year.

Been out 5 times so far this year and only one good practise. Should be the other way around really. Scores so far this year were 89, 87, 95, 89, 97

Although on the 9th hole, i teed off bout 200 yards, perfect drive landed in the middle of the fairway

Fairway woods are a big pain for me too. I've gone out 5 or 6 times and had one good shot with a 7 wood and that's it. That and I'm getting used to my new 3 wood and I still don't have a driver from when I broke it. Ughhhhhhhhhhh

I crushed this drive last week so hard. It must have went atleast 300 yrds which is nothing short of amazing for me. The ball went across the street and in a Kroger parking lot. The Putt-Putt managers were pissed. Didnt get to finish the back 9.

My one time out I shot a 102. Not a great score at all, but considering it was a course that the CPGA used to play I'm not feeling that bad. My buddy who normally shoots in the 80's shot 100 on the course.

I've been out hitting the range though. I've been hitting a lot of good shots when out. Unfortunately none of them are with the driver. I've 2 drivers and can't hit either of them worth a damn. Good thing I'm comfortable with my 3 wood and can get fairly good distance with it.

I think I'm done hitting over 100. I sure hope so anyhow. A little more consistant now. I was out with a co worker of mine that's a very good golfer, he feels I need to make better decisions on the course as well as being even more consistant.

Yeah, I think if I had a Caddy with me I could definitely improve my game. I pull a Tin Cup at least once a round, where I should just play the safe shot and move on, but my ego gets the best of me. Instead of bogey or double I end up shooting a Snowman (8) or even worse a Moose (10).

I'd be in the 80's consistently if I could hit my driver for the life of me. On par 5s I automatically gain 2 strokes when I use my driver.

I think I could be a consistent 80's player if I ever learned to chip properly. My long game is quite good when I drive mostly with my 3 and 5, but if I don't manage to land it on the green in my approach shot my strokes start to add up pretty quick.

My biggest troubles come after the drive and before the gree. Typically the second shot is my achillees heel.

My goal is high 80's.(86-89) If I can average that, with the odd lower and odd higher score, then I'd be satisfied.

Haven't been out yet this year.

Tis Winter, so haven't been outside much lately. Played alright in the summer though, consistantly average-shit. :D
