LOTS OF NOTES ON RAW, INCLUDING A HUGE SPOILER FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW

We have learned that The Sandman will be appearing on tonight's Raw, and I believe also on Smackdown this week. He will be leading what was described to me as "an ECW contingent". I get the feeling, but have not confirmed, that the group will at least consist of Tommy Dreamer and the Dudleys. All three men were on the road this past weekend working the Smackdown house shows.

I'll still mark out the moment I hear the opening to "Enter Sandman".

...assuming they play that music... I haven't actually seen any of the Sandman promos, so I dunno if they acquired the rights to play that or not. :o

They better play the music, it won't be the same without it.

As for aquiring the rights, its only for like one or two nights right? They got the rights to "Back in Black" for Eric Bischoff's music the first night he came back, so I don't see why they couldn't get the rights to use "Enter Sandman" for one or two nights.

Im sorry but if they want ECW to be like it was in the past and they dont use there music back then than its ruined. Sorta like the Beniot DvD with his music changed. You want it original. I hope Vince doesnt screw any of this up....which has been said by everyone who posts in a ECW related topic lately.

I actually forgot about RAW because I am invading the casual forum. However I got bored so I gave up.

Got bored? Or failed miserably? I'd go with the latter.

Back on topic however, Raw's looking good tonight. Part of me wishes though that I hadn't found that spoiler in the first place.

See I'm thinking the same thing, I saw this thread and just KNEW it had something to do with an ECW invasion of sorts and i thought "ok, don't read it, keep yourself guessing."

And what happens....? Dam I'm so weak. :(

...I guess yeah for Sandman being on RAW and all, but I mean, if he appears on RAW then it will be completly 100% confirmed they are going to do some sort of invasion angle the night of One Night Stand. ECW's first invasion of WWF kind of worked, NWA's invasion failed miserably, WCW's invasion was what drove WWE into the state of business they are in now, why do they keep trying this invasion bullshit. No one actually thinks there is an invasion by anyone, and without the illusion of it being legit it comes across as hocky and oure bullshit.

If Enter Sandman hits, I will mark the fuck out.

If they don't get the rights to Metallica's version of Enter Sandman, Motorhead did one (it's on one of the ECW albums), and since the WWE (Triple H) and Motorhead have a good relationship, they would use that if they don't use Metallica's I would imagine. Because if any of the non-contracted wrestlers use shitty generic music it won't be the same. It won't be horrible, but you know.

One thing we have to remember is that the WWE will be selling One Night Stand. They can use the REAL music on RAW, SmackDown!, and the live PPV without tremendous fees, but, and correct me if I'm wrong, I think that the WWE would have to pay a lot more because it will be sold on DVD as well.

Hopefully the WWE will go all out, though.

I hope Sandman canes the hell out of JBL. That wolud make me mark-out.

No real surprise I was expecting Dreamer/Sandman run in's this week with the advertisements.

They should just announce the Dudleys-Snadman/Dreamer match, but then have it turn into an 8 man tag with those 4 representing ECW against 4 of the WWE guys, probably JBL, Angle, Edge and Snitsky.

I KNEW it wasn't a good idea to check that thread out... but still...
