Why doesn´t Tazz Wrestle Anymore?
 

I was just wondering why he doesn´t wrestle. I doubt he´s too old as both Ric Flair and the Undertaker are still wrestling. Was there some sort of injury or does he just not want to wrestle anymore. Can anyone tell me please?

Lost that feeling he used to get when he would be waiting to come through the curtain (pretty much same as what he said about leaving ECW in the DVD) and his neck is just as fucked as Austin's.

Yep, Taz's neck apparently pains him everyday. Leave him on commentary, he's more of an asset there than in the ring as the lame, watered down TazZ.

Because he couldn't even beat WWF commentators in the ring.

Well if you were Tazz getting jobbed off each week and you've got 2 years on your contract chances are you aint gonna get it renewed, so you suggest being a backstage interviewer then try to get a spot on Heat, then on Smackdown and you got a job for at least the next 10 years (if Jr and King are anything to go by)

Same money, but none of the potentail injurues

Plus, Tazz is one of the best announcers around today IMO.

basically, he traded getting his neck rebroken in lowercard matches because WWE had no idea what to do with him for a prominent spot on every broadcast of Smackdown.

Yes Tazz does'nt have the passion because he's one of those sell outs and he became a dork now. I liked him when he was in ECW he was great I'm glad that he was at One night stand and he got to take out Angle.

Taz didn't sell out. He got a family. Just about everyone who left ECW, did so with Heyman's blessing. It's easy for you too call them a sell out from your parents basement eating a dinner they cooked/paid for.

No not really I did'nt say that at all I said he sold out to WWE and that's what I meant. I could go on and on about how he sold out but I don't want to be flammed again by you people.

I'm not going to flame you as long as explain how he sold out. I'm not Kane Knight. You'll meet him soon enough.

The fact that his neck is completly fucked should be good enough reason as to why he doesn't wrestle anymore.

Sorry about that I forgot about his injuries I should have known better that's for sure. He's not like the rest though everyone else came back after that look at angle and Benoit both had neck injuries and they came back for more.
I'm sorry that I posted that last one.

Taz's neck injury is more severe. It's like austin's in that he has trouble just doing day to day things.

there are differing levels of severity in back/neck injuries. Benoit and Angle were able to come back because their neck injuries were bad but not insurmountable. Darren Drozdov, for example, will never walk again.

I know it's horrible but Steve wrestled still after that, but I did'nt know Taz's neck was worse then Steve's was.

Steve wrestled after that after months and months and months of surgery and rehabilitation. By wrestling again he has basically fucked up his neck again.

I know that I did'nt say that did'nt happen, I know why he does'nt wrestle anymore. I did'nt really want to go off topic though so I'll just end this with a sorry and I hope he retires soon.....Taz that is.

Why should he retire? He's a good commentator and he's supporting his family without doing further damage to his body. I hope he stays for a long time to come...
