but seriously, since I don't acknowledge emo any more than I do Nu-Metal as a genre, I can't really call them proto emo. Emo's just a "odds and sods" category for trendy agnst. Type O doesn't really fit in there. Even there darker songs aren't angsty enough for the likes of the pop crowd. |
