Shitty NBA players with tonns of rings

Not really shitty, but just guys that happen to be on great teams. So not like Jordan or Shaq, but guys like Steve Kerr, Robert Horry, Lindsay Hunter, who are some of the guys who happened to be on a lot of championship teams and how many titles have they had?

The Miz 06-19-2005 01:30 AM

Lindsey Hunter has 2

Jesus Shuttlesworth 06-19-2005 01:46 AM

I know what you mean but you can probably think of much worse guys. The guys you mentioned are role players and actually play. Darko is good example of a guy with a ring who never did shit.

Also dudes like Tracy Murray, for some reason he was "out injuried" on good teams it seems. I am sure hes got a few BS rings haha

SammyG 06-19-2005 01:52 AM

Brian Cook
MARK MADSEN. No, he hustles, hes good.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-19-2005 05:03 AM

el fregadero 06-19-2005 05:09 AM

My boy, Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwaan, was on those Rockets.

RP 06-19-2005 05:15 AM

He got dunked on by Kevin Johnson.

el fregadero 06-19-2005 05:18 AM

Just a poor man's Dikembe Mutumbo anyway.

BCWWF 06-19-2005 03:30 PM

Stima, I'm just talking about guys who played on a lot of championship teams but weren't the focal point. Like the Bulls were based around Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman, so then like Luc Longley and (Shit forgot his name, he was like foreign or osmething) are just there winning championships.

Mr. Monday Morning 06-19-2005 04:25 PM

I thought Ron Harper ran the Bulls point :wtf: ?

Unless you mean Toni Kukoc?

The Miz 06-19-2005 05:36 PM

TONY KUKOC

BCWWF 06-19-2005 06:05 PM

Yeah Kukoc

The Miz 06-19-2005 06:09 PM

lol remember Jud Buechler

Apprentice 06-19-2005 07:14 PM

Darko Milicic has one too many

The Outlaw 06-19-2005 07:30 PM

Jud Buechler, Zan Tabak, Mengke Bateer to name a few

Kid Robb 06-19-2005 08:52 PM

Budda Edwards.

Luc Longley (I'm an Aussie as if I'm not going to defend him :D) was the starting centre on the greatest team in history. His job was to play the post role well with his passing ability and team with Rodman against the big forwards. He did that job perfectly well.

Robert Horry's clutch, the reason he's bouced between good teams is because he always has a good impact.

Harper and Pippen switched between running the ball. Harper's role mostly was defensive guard and spot up shooter when everyone closed on Jordan or Pippen.

Mr. Monday Morning 06-20-2005 04:53 AM

Kukoc was a pretty decent clutch shooter back in the day himself, hit a fair few big shots.

Kid Robb 06-20-2005 05:33 AM

Yeah Kukoc was alright. Came up big the two years Jordan was out.

Who did he win with? Was he somewhere else besides the 76ers and Bucks?

FakeLaser 07-05-2005 10:09 PM

Bill Wennington is my favorite NBA player of all time.

He was on the Spurs this year. Prolly played like 2 minutes total in playoffs.

PureHatred 07-06-2005 12:09 AM

Jack Haley. Being in L.A., one of the worst things about teh sports scene here is hearing this fuckhead talk about doing "what it takes to win" when he's on the local broadcasts.

This slob sat on the bench his entire collegiate and professional career, won a couple of rings by waving a towel wheneverthe starters did something good, andthen turned his stints at UCLA and with the Lakers into a cushy studio gig on Fox. I really wish that a legit NBA player would punch him square in the nuts the next time he opens his ignorant mouth.

PureHatred 07-06-2005 12:11 AM

Sorry..I turned this into "Which former NBA loser who somehow becomes a studio host do you hate the most?"

rick fox
kenny smith
mark madsen
devean george
Jack haley

steve kerr and robert horry shouldn't even be mentioned in this conversation, both have hit shots or shots for whatever team they were on when they needed to. Tim Duncan neither, great player, great guy, more rings to come.
