Antonio Tarver vs Glenn Johnson
 

Its starting in about 1 hour. I think this is going to be a heck of a fight. I'm taking Tarver for his height advantage. Both have knocked Roy Jones Jr. out. This is gunna be a good one.

Roy Jones is a great boxing analyst btw. I think Tarver knocks Johnson out in 7.

5th round. Tarver is winning but Johnson is dangerous. Tarver is gunna get tired at this pace. He could get knocked out.

Personally, I don't rate either too highly. Johnson had something like one KO in 5 years on his record. How was the fight anyway?

Basically Tarver threw so many punches they had no choice but to award him the rounds. He wasnt really hurting Johnson. I mean Johnson was taking a pounding but he kept coming. Johnson came on towards the last 5 rounds. I think he won 4 of them.

The 11th round was the best round of the fight and probably one of the best in Light Heavyweight boxing's recent history. Both guys were throwing heymakers and beating the piss out of eachother. Johnson specifically. For a moment it looked like he was going to knock Tarver out in the 11th.

The 12th round came. The corner for Johnson was brilliant. He basically told him after the 9th that he had to drop Tarver. After the 11th he was like." 3 FUCKING MINUTES. I want you to go out there and give him everything and drop his ass!" Good stuff. ( exact oppisite of Trinidad's corner )

Tarver basically came out and didnt let Johnson get any flurries. Grabbed him alot and held him. Johnson had nothing left anyways.

They were saying that there should be a third fight. Honestly. I think there should. But not for a while.

Oh yah. Before the fight they had a live interview with Mayweather and Gatti. Let me just say this. Gatti is going to smoke this loud mouth. I couldnt believe some of the shit that came from Mayweathers mouth. He's gunna get him self killed ( in the immortal words of Mike Tyson).

I hope Gatti smashes him too.

Realistically, I think Mayweather is gonna own him. I wouldn't mind that because Hatton would absolutely murder him.

He was talking about how Gatti was a paper champ. Gatti has no heart. Gatti this . Gatti that. Gatti was like " Yah you convince your self that. I'm gunna knock you on your ass".

Just stupid shit he was saying.

I think Gatti /Hatton would give Corrales Castillo a run for its money for fight of the year if it happend.
