Wimbledon

Tim Henman sucks.
I see either Roddick or Federer winning.

packt up 06-22-2005 01:12 PM

Federer all the way the guy is simply awesome.

Henman looks like shit at the moment though that Murray kid looked good if also like an annoying whiney little moaner. Still more character than Tim though but that isn't hard.

packt up 06-22-2005 01:12 PM

Oh yeah and I'l still go for Henin in the womens even though she's struggling now too.

Gonzo 06-22-2005 01:16 PM

I think the guy that wins the most matches will win.

RoXer 06-22-2005 01:24 PM

Sharapova

Danny Electric 06-22-2005 01:35 PM

Yeah, I like Murray. He gets the crowd going and has more attitude, Henman makes me want to sleep.
Good comeback though.

Danny Electric 06-22-2005 01:51 PM

Henin is out.

Danny Electric 06-22-2005 01:54 PM

Plus I hate the Wimbledon crowd, they are the second shittest crowd to the JJB Stadium.

Chavo Classic 06-22-2005 02:05 PM

I hate wimbledon. It's not so much the event or the fans or even the stawberrys and cream... its the inevitable hen-mania which comes with it every year.

It'd be a tremendous sporting event, and it sometimes is, if every year it was crudely interupted or overshadowed by the 'Will Tim Do It This Year' or 'Tiger Tim's Year?' argument EVERY FUCKING YEAR!

Truth be told, he's pants. He will never win it. He's too old. He couldn't have even won it when he was younger. So lets all forget about Tim fucking Henman and enjoy Wimbledon like it should be....

Watch how all of a sudden, Murray is "British" yet Henman is "English".

Lol. Well if we can capture Lennox Lewis then we won't shed a bead of sweat incoporating Murray...

Lennox is a Londoner though.

Chavo Classic 06-22-2005 03:53 PM

Really? Dam, there goes my ego.

Y2Ant 06-23-2005 07:42 PM

Roger Federer is the man

Nervous Ferret 06-23-2005 09:42 PM

Is Sampras still playing?

Y2Ant 06-24-2005 11:57 AM

don't think so

Cactus Sid 06-24-2005 12:28 PM

Henman is about to go out

Agassi sadly lost his stroke a while back. Man I miss the good ole days when Agassi would dominate. He hasn't been the same in a long time.

Cactus Sid 06-24-2005 12:34 PM

Actually scratch what I said about Henman

He is the jammiest git I have ever seen

Nervous Ferret 06-24-2005 12:44 PM

Agassi had a stroke

Wengerland 06-24-2005 01:03 PM

Sampras quit (Wimbledon anyway) after losing to the guy Andrew Murray put out this year, that was about 3 years ago. He's definetly retired now but i don't know if that was his last match.

Henman's out, infuriating to watch.

Supreme Olajuwon 06-24-2005 03:25 PM

Not that I have any confidence in Roddick as a skilled tennis player, but this Bracciali fellow he is playing against looks pretty good.

LK 06-24-2005 03:33 PM

Murray beat the number 13 seed, 300 places ahed of him in the rankings, in straight sets. What a legend.

Cactus Sid 06-24-2005 08:50 PM

Going for Kuznetsova/Sharapova and Roddick/Federer for the finals

Murray could get as far as the semis if he beats Nalbandian, but thats pretty unlikely, Nalbandian is a much better player than Stepanek

SuperSlim 06-24-2005 09:02 PM

man in the last tournament I watched Roddick in he got schooled. I don't think he'll make it to the finals of this one. I'm lookin for Federer to make it though.

Cactus Sid 06-24-2005 09:07 PM

Roddick has such a great draw though, unlike Federer who'll probably have to go through Leyton Hewitt in the semis. Roddick's closest challenger is probably Grosjean, and I doubt Grosjean would beat him.

packt up 06-25-2005 06:27 AM

Henman looked all outa shape this year - never stood a chance. This Murray kid looks promising though.

Rob 06-26-2005 05:46 AM

Can't see past Fed this year.

The Outlaw 06-26-2005 06:40 PM

Watching it right nowwwwww.

yianni 06-27-2005 12:41 AM

Hewitt is an arse...go on you ugly cunt just pork Bec Cartwright one more time

Good to hear Greek girl Danilidou knock Henin out in the first round. Also Tim Henman is balls. On another note, whenever Phillopoussis does something well here he's a "top Aussie" yet when he loses he's a "useless Greek", fucken fickle redneck media and public here.

Is a bloke called Marcus Baghdatis playing? He's a Cypriot/Greek and an absolute legend

SuperSlim 06-27-2005 12:52 AM

Henin is out :(

Wengerland 06-27-2005 06:57 AM

Ah well, Andrew Murray is out, lost a 2 set lead but the lad did well. I don't think that Baghdatis was in it, yianni :(

I was thinking about going for Nalbandian before it started, already reached the final before and he was bound to have longish odds. Didn't look great against Murray, admittedly, but i believe he's in Roddick's half of the draw, so he's got a fair chance.
