He's mixed. Although in the US, most people of mixed heritage are looked on as being 'black.'

Yeah it's half and half. Much like Derek Jeter. A lotta times you either look more white or black, but you can't tell with Kidd or Jeter.

It took me a long time to realize Kidd was anything but white.
