Here's some of JBL commentry that you'll find on the ECW dvd
 

JBL has some running alternative track commentary on the ECW One Night Stand DVD released in stores today. It's commentary from him while he watched the show from the balcony. Orlando Jordan also slips in a number of comments. Both were in heel anti-ECW mode.

He keps on calling Mike Awesome: "Mike Awful."

As Masato Tanaka comes out, JBL yells five or six times: "THATS MY DOORMAN!"

As Tommy Dreamer comes out, he says, "This is the main event??"

As Sandman looks under the ring: "What's he looking for now, a treadmill?" "Or an oxygen tank!"

As the BWO comes out: "And you wonder they they went out of business"

About Blue Meanie: "Fat f--- with blue hair. Go find your porn star wife!"

About Meanie as he's dancing on the middle rope: "It looks like a onkey screwing a basketball, him being up there. Go donate your body to science fiction, you fat lowly lowly (yes, he says it twice) pig. e looks like a blue haired 800 pound Abe Lincoln."

As Big Stevie Cool is giving his speech: "Go home now."

As Kash comes down: "This is a carnival."

On Balls: "They're chanting balls" and then chants along with them saying "balls" approximately 100 times before saying, "You know if you really beat someone, you lick them. Does this mean you lick balls."

On Axl: "Has anyone heard of the Atkins diet"

On Balls & Axl (this is funny because of Johnny Ace's interest in signing them): "Who are the fat guys who came in?"

On the main event: "This could be awful, but it might not be good. I gotta be drunk for this one."

Regarding Mike Awesome: "Someone run in make Awesome use one of his 93 finishers..."

When Lance Storm runs in: "You can hear the paint dry. Here comes the most boring man in the history of boring. Lance Storm couldn't fill an arena if you gave free beer and free tickets. They say he's retiring today, (mumbled) if a tree falls in a forrest, no one cares. National Hockey League. No one cares."

Lance gets thrown out: "Is his career over now? Bye Lance, don't come back."

As the flaming table gets lit: "Now that's heat! Is there not a fire marshall in the New York state watching this?"

As Sandman looks under the ring: "What's he looking for now, a treadmill?" "Or an oxygen tank!"

Out of curiousity, any editing on the DVD? Shoots, crowd chants, Sandman's theme?

Sandman's theme and all the crowd swearing has been taken out

They took out Sandmans theme???? How the hell did they do that. The whole damn crowd was singing it. Damn WWE. Not sure its worth buying now...

Is there actually anything on it that makes buying it worth it....that is...if you already watched it and taped it the first time..should you go out and buy this because of the extra stuff?

JBL can comment all he wants on the others, but I doubt anyone can take that shit seriously coming from such a no talent hoss such as himself. But to mock a man with double the talent of JBL in Lance is going too far.

btw JBL, nobody really thinks of you as a legit main eventer, and your name is not a draw. Never was.

Also, when Sabu hits the ring, JBL says 3 or 4 times, "Hey, Iron Shiek lost wieght."

JBL's commentary is funny, but there isn't enough of it. He is mainly just shooting off the hip, and not keeping up with most of the stuff.

Also before the Sabu Rhyno matching get started JBL states, "This is going to be a technical masterpiece."

JBL and Nash should form some sort of announce team, it would be gold.

LMAO at the "800lbs Abe Lincoln" statement. Oh, and I think he calls Blue Meanie a "rolley poley" pig" not "lowly lowly pig", but I haven't got the DVD so I can't say for sure.

So with what did they replace Sandman's theme?

Hopefully not that same terrible techno music they replaced his theme with on all the later ECW DVDs that were released

That's why I taped it the night I got it.I mean it may still be edited but I still got Sandmans real entrance.

is the jbl/blue meanie "fight" still on the dvd or is that edited out for lawsuit reasons?

Did you see the other ECW dvd? If you did, they play the same music from there that was playing when they talked about the Sandman.

I'm glad I burned a DVD of the unedited PPV. I might buy the DVD for the commentary though.

I'm going to buy the DVD regardless, only in the hope that ECW will return because of more evidence of high sales

The problem is once vince see's dollar signs he will not let Heyman run the company like ECW. It will instead become ECWWF. Unless Vince gives Heyman total control, it's all downhill from the ppv.

Thank God I taped it live. Sandman's entrance is like the best part of the whole show.

Except RVD's promo... and Heyman's promo... and Awesome vs. Tanaka... well fuck, it's at least in the top five.
