This girl is really impressing me. She is the first woman wrestler that I've actually been interested in in years. She can rock the mic and she's somewhat tolerable in the ring. That match with Michelle McCool was actually entertaining.

What do you all think?

The match was abysmal, Michelle McCool can't punch for the life of her. Easy to look at, just needs a shitload of work in the ring.

Anyway, that match impressed me--because I was expecting an all out cat fight with absolutely no wrestling moves. However, to my shock, they actually tried some! Sure, it didn't go well, but I was impressed by the attempts.

The match was crap from any other viewpoint tho. :lol:

If that's what it takes for people to be interested in women wrestlers, I hereby welcome the return to T&A. Let's scrap the concept of women ever wrestling, because if you need a skank who's a shit actress in a ring to get your interest, there's no fucking hope for it.

The only thing Melina should do is porno...And then, only as a stunt body, since her face is utter shit.

I was a huge fan of Jazz when she was around and all these fucking horrible woman wrestlers with big tits drive me fucking insane. However, out foothem all... I think Milena has considerably better mic skills. I'm a sucker for good women on the mic because most of them are horrid.

I dunno if you guys noticed, but T & A is fucking awesome.

But the bottom line is, the WWE doesn't want a women's division, they want a TITTYWEIGHT division.

I like some T & A just like the next guy.

BUt if they gonna be int he ring don't make it so all they do is just roll around in a cat fight of sorts and do nothin. Everytime I think of T & A I think abck to the era where The Kat reigned as the women's champion competing in nothing matches. I'm just sayin it would be nice if they gonna do it then at least make sure the girls can wrestle.

As for the views, I think it's pretty obvious where the WWE is going with the women's division. And we'll just have to wait for the cycle to go back to the days of good woman's wrestling.

The majority don't give a shit about the women except if they're used as T&A. They just don't. A small handful of the women the WWE have ever had on their roster are capable wrestlers and outside of Chyna, Trish (and Victoria to a lesser extent) none of them have gotten over.

The ugly truth is -and this has been discussed before whenever the difference between the Net fan and the Casual fan has been brough tup - that Net fans who want actual wrestling when it comes to the divas are in a tiny minority.

And to be honest, I don't give a shit whether the divas wrestle or not either. Its a bonus; but basically if they're hot and they can cut a decent promo, thats all I hope for. My main problem with the Diva search hookers is that they have no personality and are basically a drag on the show.

I personally think they should just shitcan the division. Women in the WWE should be valets and managers and on-air personalities. I'd rather see no women wrestlignt han bad women wrestling.

And say for example, you get rid of Melina/McCool from the last SSD, then maybe the cruisers go 5 minutes longer. or the tag division is actually shown.

There just aren't enough women with wrestling talent to merit giving them any airtime.

LMFAO. Yeah. Trish, strangely enough, was like Melina not too long ago (except she was cuter). She was table-fodder; on the path to be the next B.B. ...I didn't think she'd make it through the year 2000. When she actually did start wrestling, she would botch things worse than Lita. Remember that HIDEOUS excuse for a bulldog she used to do? We've watched her "grow up" in the ring, and most recently on the mic. Her only knock was in front of a live audience, she got nervous on the mic (and sometimes, it still holds true today)...but now, as a hated heel, she really lets loose. Add to the fact that she can actually wrestle now...she's on the path to being a female Rock, without all the notoriety, but with just about the same level of versatility (switching between face-heel, being somewhat adequate in the ring).

I wonder why Trish was the only one to come up this way, while a lot of the other women just seem so disposable (outside of Victoria)?

Yeah. The Raw Diva Search SUCKED. And why do we get subjected to it all over again? I don't want to see that crap...

When Gail Kim got the boot, I knew the division was in trouble. I liked her, and her submissions of doom. They hyped her to high hell, had her win the title on her first match...and then...CUT!

Why? Because wrestling plays to the demographic. Males ages 18-35, or something to that effect. Men in the the sexual peaks of their lives. Men that age more often than not want to see hot girls. The problem lies in the fact that the WWE doesn't exactly seem to realize that people want to see actual wrestling, too.

Here's the thing...while I don't watch wrestling for the T & A, I don't mind it, because it's not like it takes up a majority of the show. It was, what, one segment on Smackdown? A short one at that. No real harm done. I honestly believe that these sort of things are thrown into the mix not only to appease the demographic, but also to allow the 'piss breaks' that we so often joke about.

A human's attention span, from what I understand, is something like one hour interrupted. I think that the WWE knows the place of the T & A for the show....for the people who can't pay attention, it's their time to do other things. For the people who are going to watch the show regardless of what's happening (myself included, for I am that much in love with it), it's at least something nice to look it.

Just a conjecture, here. But I'm probably too optimisitic.

See, some people think Milena is hot, though.

Some people also think Heidenreich is a great wrestler. Doesn't mean they should put the WHT on him.

But on a smaller, less dramatic scale. If you want to market T&A, you don't market to what "some people" want to see. IT's that simple.
