Dane Cook is not very funny.
 

He seems like a very average comedian to me, but for some reason it seems like everyone views him as the second coming of christ. What is so appealing about him? I don't know, maybe it's just not my type of humor.

I don't like him very much either, I've heard some things that were pretty hilarious, but then everything else is "meh".

lol yeah, was thinking the same exact thing. He is pretty funny I guess but everyone treats him like he is ROFL. He is pretty average.

I like his first stand up CD, but yeah he is definately overrated.

Ive never heard anyone say that he was pure greatness but I know tons of people that think hes funny. Im one of them. I like his CD and I love watching him on TV because his actions make everything a little more funnier.

Hes been pretty good in movies also....always plays a funny role

He made me cry and almost choke to death, cause of laughing so hard, the first time I saw his special, so yea.

I couldn't agree more. To me he just isn't anything special. Average to above average comic thats all. But he is HUGE to other college kids. Personally he is nothing special, a lot more people are better then him.

The people that like him are the same dickheads that hate Mitch Hedberg.

Who actually is the second coming. Well, maybe not quite, but Mitch (RIP) was the funniest comedian on the planet when he died, imo.

I liked him when I first heard his stuff, but my roomate played it pretty much everyday...which pretty much killed him for me.

Overated. Mitch on the other hand, was hilarious. Cook, all he does is scream random shit out loud and it's funny. Sure it might be funny as first but after awhile, it's annoying.
