Has there ever been a song thats made you cry for some reason?
When I had to leave some of my friends Creed - One Last Breath was playing and I got the Lump In throat thing but it turned out ok as I didnt go in the end Also when Someone I know died, Pearl Jams' 'Off He Goes' was playing which made me really sad :'( |
I cry everytime I hear Hollaback Girl because it's fucking terrible.
|
REM - Everybody Hurts
It was played at a funeral of someone very close to me. |
Eric Clapton- Would You Know My Name (If I Saw You in Heaven)
|
There are a couple of Beatles songs that have been known to cause me to well up.
She's Leaving Home For No One When I first went away to college, "Don't Worry, Baby" by the Beach Boys made me homesick a couple of times. Don't know why, though. |
I Microwaved Your Soul by Blood and Human Heads
|
This Isn't What We Meant - by Savatage
Who Wants to Live Forever - by Queen |
Goodbye My Lover - James Blunt
Don't think I've ever cried because of a song but this was played at a funeral of a friends mother recently and every time I hear it now I come close |
^ Thats an awesome song, probably one of his best.

Spill Canvas - The Tide
|
That one song that is played at the end of "Set It Off" (when 3 out of the 4 girls get killled) made me cry once

no song has ever made me cry unless it's playing during an emotional part of a movie or something
But Savage Garden: Two Beds and a Coffee Machine comes close I guess. |

No music makes me cry because my music is vastly superior to anything that could ruse any emotion. My music doesn't make you cry, it's not that emo shit, it is so good that when you listen to it, you can only be amazed, and drop your pants and start jacking off right there. http://tpww.net/forums/image.php?u=1...ine=1108172430 |
I love you, Silent.
|
Glassjaw - Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence
Glassjaw - Lovebites and Razorlines Sublime - Poolshark Weezer - Butterfly |
I don't think I've ever actually cried by I have gotten misty eyed a few times when I was feeling real emo. :(
Alkaline Trio - Enjoy Your Day Bright Eyes - Lua Dashboard Confessional - For You To Notice (few other songs too prolly) Get Up Kids - I'll Catch You Jimmy Eat World - Clarity Jimmy Eat World - For Me, This Is Heaven Postal Service - Nothing Better  Saves the Day - Hold Saves the Day - I'm Sorry I'm Leaving Saves the Day - Nightingale Saves the Day - Firefly Something Corporate - Konstantine The Used - Buried Myself Alive I GUESS. |
Prince - Purple Rain is the only one that really comes close
|
Joey Ramone--What a wonderful world.
Most Alice in Chains songs as it still pisses me off that Layne Staley is dead. |
Nothing makes me cry, but Muse - Plug In Baby and Audioslave - Shadow on the Sun both depress me a bit because of what I associate the songs with.
|
"Angels Among Us" - Alabama
|
Tupac- Dear Mama
|
Don’t know if I’d cry to a song but one that makes me well up is Atmosphere by Joy Division. It’s A Beautiful, bleak song.
You should give it a listen if you get the opportunity. |
Yeah, as Baird said, Shadow on the Sun by Audioslave is very depressing. Never really cried during a song, though.

You are the man. I love anything Savage Garden/Darren Hayes related. :y: Teardrop by Massive Attack (The theme song to "House M.D." on Fox) always gets me though. |
Yeah, looking back, a song hasn't really made me "cry", just depressed a little.
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dosed |
for some reason, "Blaze of Glory" by Bon Jovi made me cry the first time I heard it
Also, Graduation by Vitamin C |
You'll Never Walk Alone is up there for the old lump at the back of the throat, cos of a funeral.
Also (cos of funerals), Would You Know My Name (if I Saw You in Heaven), Time to Say Goodbye (Bochelli), Time of My Life, Did You Ever Know You're My Hero. |
