Velocity This Week *Spoilers*
Watch it!
It's been a while since there's actually been action on Velocity, but tomorrow there's the debut of Frankie Kazarian against Nunzio (which was a pretty good match), a Simon Dean appearance & an awesome match between Chris Benoit & William Regal. Just thought I'd let everyone now that Velocity was REALLY good this week, and well worth the watch to support internet favs. |
WHOA!
Chris Benoit actually did a Dragon Suplex on that Velocity! That's the first time I've seen Benoit use that move in WWE in about 5 years! |
Velocity owned tonight.

Wow. That match was better than anything I can remember on SD in ages. Angle/Booker was good a few weeks ago, and some others, but DAMN THIS SHIT WAS AWESOME. Benoit actually reminded me of his older days.

Alright, I'm giving in. I REALLY think the WWE should use Heat & Velocity better. I wasn't going to say anything, but I just can't resist.
Next week, here's what I hope we see on SmackDown! and Velocity respectively, leading into The Great American Bash: SmackDown!: -Batista & Chris Benoit vs. JBL & Orlando Jordan -Juventud vs. Scotty 2 Hotty -Christian vs. William Regal -Funaki vs. Simon Dean -MNM & Frankie Kazarian vs. Heidenreich, Animal & Nunzio Velocity: -Rey Mysterio vs. Khosrow Daivari -Booker T & Paul London vs. Super Crazy & Psicosis -bWo vs. Jobbers (have Mike Bucci do double duty) -Hardcore Holly vs. Sylvain Grenier On SD!, the heels win the Six-Man Tag Team Match, when Nunzio is distracted by his new valet, Torrie Wilson, and MNM's valet Melina fighting. Simon Dean says Funaki is out of shape, and should be a "boozerweight" rather than a cruiserweight. Funaki kicks Simon Dean's ass and pins him in a squash match, as a send-off to the character. Christian and William Regal have a match which is won when William Regal gets help from Booker T, adding fuel to the Christian/Booker T fire. Juventud beats Scotty 2 Hotty with help from fellow Mexicools, which brings out Paul London, who challenges Juvi to a match at The Great American Bash. JBL & Orlando Jordan are victorious with help from Doug Basham (both JBL & OJ look surprised to see him). JBL pins Benoit. On Velocity, Grenier is introduced to us, and he defeats Hardcore Holly relatively cleanly (but we are reminded Holly has a sore leg). The bWo decide facing two jobbers isn't enough, since they are twice the competitors jobbers are. They instead get four jobbers, tie two back-to-back, another two back-to-back, and then face them in a comedy match. bWo win of course. Booker T & Paul London defeat the Mexicool tag team of Super Crazy & Psicosis, while Rey Mysterio is forced to lie down for Khosrow Daivari by Eddie Guerrero, after a fun match. After Rey Mysterio leaves the ring upset at being forced to lose, the lights go out, and The Undertaker is standing behind Khosrow Daivari. A Chokeslam and Tombstone for Daivari is used to explain his absence from the match at The Great American Bash, to make it look more certain of a 'Taker win. |
