Rate the Tag Team - Day 16 - The World's Greatest Tag Team

http://www.obsessedwithwrestling.com...amangle/07.jpg

Welcome everyone to the next edition of RTTT. We are on Day 16 and last time we rated The Killer Bees. They scored a shitty score of 63, only one better then The Twin Towers and Power and Glory. I actually expected them to beat out Pretty Wonderful for the number ten spot in the rankings.

Today we have kind of a newer tag team. They were a gift from Paul Heyman to Kurt Angle and what a gift they were. They helped form Team Angle and are former 2 time WWE tag team champions. They are the recently released Charlie Haas and former IC champ Shelton Benjamin, THE WORLD'S GREATEST TAG TEAM!

Great team. If they hadn't been split up so soon, they'd rank extremely high. In another era, these two would've spent 5-6 years as partners. They are as athletically gifted as any team on the list.

Seriously, if they stick together longer, they're top 5.

The reason I go 7 instead of higher is because although they are good seperately, and were good together, they really were never given a chance to take off - and I simply can't judge a team that wasn't together that long. I know that that situation can not be blamed on them, but the circumstances make it hard to judge them as a long term team. Like PH said, who knows what would have been if they were still around.

They could have been great in the long run, and they had a great feud with Chavo and Eddie........

Also, I loved the atomic drop/superkick/rollup combo.

They were perfect, great team work together and both made a great team. Their name says it all. But they were split up too early. :'(

Agreed. 8.0 here as well. They were a great tag team as Team Angle, and even more so as WGTT. They could have lived up to the name had they stuck around longer.
