How would you of followed it up...(Raw spoilers)
 

I thought Edge's promo was great tonight. However the whole Hardy run in lasted maybe a minute, he got two punches in before "security" took him down. I thought was a horrible way to continue this. How would of you handled it.

I would of let the Edge/Kane match start and during it Matt runs after Lita and Edge cant get it to her due to being in the cage. Matt confronts her and calls her a slut before security takes him down before getting to him. Or I would have him come after Lita and the Edge/Kane match justs stops and Kane lets Edge go out of the cage to protect Lita from Hardy it would of made it seem more "real" if Kane let his enemy go to save his other enemy.

Anyways that the way id do it how about you.

I would've had Matt climb the cage, hit the leg drop on Edge, starting punching and punching and punching, then get out of there after security gets in.

Yeah I would have had Matt do more then just two little punches, but it was funny how Edge kept saying " go back to the indies asshole.."

That's exactly what I would have done.

I thought that it was waaaaay too short too. It sures makes it look real, but now that we know that it's NOT real, it's just, well, useless. Maybe they could push it a little, so we can actually see Hardy...

Make him stay like 20-30 seconds before security spots him and takes him out... not 2 seconds and a half...

Plus now since it was announced that Edge Vs Kane is happening once again my theory would of worked even better at least they would of have had a good reason for having another Edge Vs Kane match

I would've done exactly what was done. It works perfectly for the image they're trying to portray. Thought they did a great job with it.

If he came in and did a leg drop, everyone who is still speculating would know. And they're already knee deep into this 'shoot' angle, why turn back now?

the longer they wait to actually "bring him back", the sweeter it will be.

I would've had Matt wearing a TNA or ROH shirt, just to further the angle.

I think it would've worked too if he waited 'til the match was starting [like have Edge 1/2 in the cage], came through the crowd to the guardrail, spun Lita around and spit right in her face. Then have him make a quick motion towards Edge before a security takedown. Just an idea.

Well, I don't know when they will - but he's got indy dates confirmed right into October. So who knows? He's also got his tag match with Rhino against The Dudleys coming up.

Interesting how much WWE is letting go involving NWA-TNA, as Rhino is a TNA guy and Hardy is a WWE boy [technically] and they're working alongside each other on an indy event. Also coming up is Al Snow tagging with Shark Boy - another WWE contracted guy working with a TNA contracted guy.

Weird.

I honestly thought he was going to interfere in the lumberjack match.

Think about it, the last few "big" returns have been during a lumberjack match.

Big Show came in during Eddie G. vs. Kurt Angle, beat the hell out of everybody.

Randy Orton, came in during Benoit vs. Trips (Dunno, can't remember) and RKO'd everyone.

I would've had Edge crawling out of the cage, only to have Matt run in and throw the cage door back, hitting him in the head.

But the way they did it tonight was fine

When watching Raw tonight, I honestly thought they were going to have Kane win. Edge is knocked out inside the cage, Lita goes to check on him inside the cage. While the ref is outside raising Kane's hand, Matt runs in from the crowd, gets inside the cage and locks the door with a chain. Then have him get a weapon from his pockets. Something that sounds more real than a steel chair. Something like a chain, brass knucks or a lead pipe, then have him go crazy on Edge while Lita looks on.

As security finally gets to the cage, have him climb out and run away.

Am i the only one who noticed how Edge was sort of "looking out" for Hardy after the match..like he thought it would happen again...sweet role play

Edge did a good job playing it off, with the interview and everything...

Yeah that was funny. I actually laughed out loud at that. That's just not something you usually hear one wrestler say to another. Did anybody else notice Johnny Ace was out there too trying to restrain Hardy? It may have not been him but it sure looked like him.

I think it would have been cool it after he ran away from security, later in the match when Edge used the briefcase and climbed to the top of the cage, have Hardy run back out and climb the cage and start attacking Edge at the top. Then have security come back and drag Hardy down from the cage and escort him out of the building. While all the commotion was going on Edge could have continued climbing out of the cage.

Yeah, I think that was Johnny Ace, too. Matt Hardy called him by name...

They should have had hardy rope down from the rafters

but that would definitly let all the marks know it wasn't a shoot.

I thought they did one more time....maybe that was WCW though.

What's going to happen is now Matt's going to think of a creative way to get past security.

dress up as The Hurricane, or Rosey....or be the home town hero. :shifty:

The way they should end it is at Summer slam have Kane chal;enge Edge to a hell in a cell. Have a "power outage" right before the match. edge comes out first and enters the cell. Hardy immediatly comes from under the ring and hand cuffs the door shut (Cuz chaining would take to long.) and they have a match.

IMO the "power outage" would have made it way too obvious.

Does Edge still have his title shot in that briefcase? Because if he does, I'd have the case turn up missing on the one night that Hardy doesn't appear on TV. Film a couple of segments where Edge goes to Hardy's home or an RoH event to get his contract back and then you finally have Edge agrreing to meet Matt one on one; Matt wants revenge and Edge want his contract.

Hell, you could even incorporate CM Punk into the angle because he's under WWE contract and is the current RoH champion. (more fodder for the Shadow Conspiracy)

So now it's the Shadow Conspiracy eh? I should sooooooo print up t-shirts.
