Arcade Fire
Anyone else listen to them? My friennd has the CD Funeral in his car and I heard it and it really took me by surprise. Probably gonna pick it up. Apparently they're relatively popular as my friend said they're on Muchmusic and stuff, but I wouldn't know since I don't erally listen to hte radio or watch TV much anymore :o Dunno they're really damn good, Neighbourhood #3 has like the catchiest drum line thing ever. Hot ish. Good stuff though, d/l some songs off Funeral.

Buy the album you cheap cunt. It is the best album of 2004/2005.
Yeah gonna zip over to the mall after work, I was just suggesting other people to d/l songs to get a sound for them. colon rant colon
Apology accepted.
Took me a while to get into them but I've been listening to them loads lately.
Funeral is one of the best cd's I've ever heard. I've been listening to it since last year and it still hasn't gotten old.
Yeah.
I've got a couple of their songs on my computer. Neighbourhood #3 is catchy as hell.
I'll probably end up buying the album eventually, but I got cello rock CD's to buy and music software to fund, so it will have to wait. |
They released an EP of their early work last week. It's not bad either.
I saw a video of them performing live, which seemed ok, but then I saw one of their actual videos, which didn't seem so great. I might grab a few tracks and see if they're actually worth the hype though.
Hmm, seems I was wrong. Got the first five tracks off Funeral, and they seem pretty good. :y:
That's the spirit lad
Yeah they are sex.
Yeah, I think they are from Montreal or something.
They are from Montreal, and I got a bit sick of hearing all the hype about them.
Same thing with the fucking Dears, although when Matt Good says something is good, I prick my ears. |
