That was disappointing due to the use of glitches.

When someone gets 100% completion on Mario64 without the use of glitches and as fast as possible give me a call.

Then i'll come back and be awestruck.

I'm d-loading one now from the SDA...120 stars in a little under 3 hours. I should have it by tomorrow morning.

this is kinda like that video where the guy beats Mario 3 in 11 minutes, but you can tell he was cheating because you can see stuff hit him at certain parts and it doesn't hurt him and yadda yadda yadda

I didnt see anything wrong except the obvious ones like using the animal to get through the door and skipping through the wall and endless staircase.

I think those are the ones people are complaining about :o

Yep, the one I got was legit. Head over to speeddemosarchive.com if you want to see a full 120-star run. Word of warning, however, it's 2 hours and 50 minutes long.

I watched the SuperMario Bros. 3 game get beat in 11 minutes.

Which also looked fake.

Anyway, is it really that big an accomplishment to pull off a game that's THIS old in a quick fashion? We know all the cheats and exploits...

Well, finding all the glitches now that the game's so old is easy. You can find listings all over the web. If this was a brand new game, it'd be something.

Also, I just clicked on the video link, and the ads on the page think I'm in Bangor Maine. Odd, since I don't think I've even BEEN to Bangor since I was like 10, and these are supposedly based on your IP address (I'm in Vermont...A LIIIIIITTLE bit away)
