Rate the Tag Team - Day 17 - The Bodydonnas

Sorry for the wait everyone. I was going to wait until it got a sticky but fuck it, for whatever reason it didn't. Last time we rated The World's Greatest Tag Team. They bumped Pretty Wonderful out of the top ten placing themselves tied with Strike Force at 85.

Today we have a team of fitness guru's who were managed by Sunny and a more forgettable transvestite Cloudy. They are former WWF tag team champions made up of Tom Pritchard and the late Chris Candido. They went through 1996 feuding with The Godwins and The Smoking Guns over the titles. They are Skip and Zip, The Bodydonnas!!!

Perfectly average as a team. Nothing that makes them any more or any less then any other team out there other then everyone loves Sunny. And if your biggest selling point was the woman that walks out next to you? Hell you might as well be Edge.

PureHatred 07-24-2005 07:16 PM

Yeah, after the period in the 80s, where the WWF was crawling with great tag teams, this period with the Body Donnas, Godwinns, and Gunns was a real down period.

Although I do prefer Candido with Bigelow and Douglas, and Tom Prichard with The Heavenly Bodies. And also, I do happen to like The Smoking Gunns as a tag team.

Candido, TNA LEGEND
