The 2005 Great American Bash figures to be one of the most exciting SmackDown! pay-per-views of the year.

With the 2005 WWE Draft Lottery now complete, a host of new Superstars will be looking to have an immediate impact on the SmackDown! roster.

First and foremost, World Heavyweight Champion Batista will take on former WWE Champion JBL. JBL, still seething over not being named the SmackDown! Champion, will get his chance to regain the top spot on the SmackDown! roster - a spot he feels he rightly deserves.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Hassan, another stunner of a draft lottery pick, will face Undertaker, with the winner becoming the No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Chris Benoit will try and end Orlando Jordan's reign as United States Champion at The Great American Bash.

Also, MNM will put their WWE Tag Team Championship on the line when they face Heidenreich and his new friend and legendary partner Road Warrior Animal. Melina will also be busy taking on Torrie Wilson in a Bra & Panties Match.

More announced matches include Christian vs. Booker T and the much-awaited Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio match, where a Latino Heat victory will lead him to reveal Mysterio's secret.

Finally, tired of seeing the Mexicools interrupting matches on SmackDown!, the bWo has challenged the newcomers to a match at The Great American Bash.

Can anyone else see JBL beating Batista thanks to the Hassan situation?

Somehow i don#t see taker doing the job tonight with hassan either being given the boot or shifted to raw =/

The obviously didn't pre-warn Sky over here, because they showed the whole Terrorist angle in that video package

maybe this whole Hassan thing is a work to get the all of us talking then shock us with the Hassan win tonight, they have been paying more attention to the "Internet Fans" recently..

Just watched the London/Nunzio match and I will never be comfortable watching a SSP. I once agin almost thought that was going to fall on his head.

Out of interes, when they played that intro video with h the falg and the eagle, was I the on;y one hoping to hear "ALLLLEEEEYAAAAALLLEEYYYYAAA"

Animal and Heidenreich dominate early on. Animal with an awesome double suplex. MNM get back in the match after Nitro gives Heidenreich a chop block. The two work on Heidenreich's leg. Heidenreich gets the hot tag to Animal who tales down Mercury with a back suplex. Nitro hits Animal with a belt but Animal kicks out. Doomsday Device! 1-2-3

Actually I saw Danny Doring and Roadkill yesturday on Velocity against MNM. They looked pretty good

Booker gets early control of the match but CC gets the control by using the ref as a shield and then throwing Booker into the ring post shoulder first. CC with a single arm DDT. CC then takes him down with a side headlocl on the ground. "Lets go Christian" chants. Booker misses with a heel kick and goes into the ropes. Book End after CC is distracted by Sharmell but CC kicks out.

Clotheslines by Booker followed by a vertical suplex. Spinebuster by Booker and then a flapjack. Booker isn't too popular here. Misses a scissors kick but counters the unprettier. CC tries to roll Booker uo with the ropes but Booker kicks out. Booker with a missile dropkick off the top rope but CC kicks out.
