On Windows XP, how do I find my ip address?

where's that guy with the signature that reads your IP number to you when you need him?

double click the icon you get when you connect to the net, go on the Details tab, and it's on there under Client IP address

Go to Start - Run - and type cmd

Then at the command prompt, type ipconfig
