TPWW’s TNA Tournament – QUARTER FINALS

Match #1: Petey Williams vs. Abyss
Result: A rough and tumble match up between TNA’s Monster and the Captain of Team Canada. It takes not only the constant interference of Coach Scott D’Amore, but then from out of no where A-1 RUNS IN! He knocks the ref in the back of the head so he can’t see anything, and then takes a hockey stick and whacks it over the head of Abyss. Abyss is keeled over as Petey wraps his legs around his head, and...CANADIAN DESTROYER! Coach D’Amore then grabs the ref and makes him count the 1-2-3. (15-4) Petey Williams

Match #2: Jerry Lynn vs. Rhino
Result: The two former ECW World Heavyweight Champs gave all they had to not only win, but make this a show stealing performance. Jerry battles Rhino into the corner, Rhino shoves him off and as Jerry is getting up...GORE! GORE! GORE! Rhino connected with the Gore! Rhino goes to cover the limp Lynn, 1-2-OH MY GOD! Jerry Lynn kicks out. Rhino continues to beat down on Lynn, he then picks Jerry up and Jerry stands around wobbling on his feet, Rhino sets up for another Gore, Jerry side steps it and Rhino goes the turnbuckle! Lynn then turns Rhino around and kicks him to the get, sets it up, and then a Cradle Piledriver ends it off. (16-3) Jerry Lynn

Match #3: Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles
Result: Incredible! Daniels connects with an Angles Wing and a BME! AJ is able to hit Daniels with not only a Styles Clash but a Twisting Corkscrew. As the two men battle they notice the 30 minute time limit on the Fox Box is running out. Still they persist. Hitting each other with everything they’ve got. Daniels is able to bring AJ down with a huge fireman’s carry. He mounts the turnbuckle, and for the second time in the evening AJ is hit with a Best Moonsault Ever! He goes for the pin right as the time is running out. 1 (2 seconds remain), 2 (1 second remains), BUZZZZZZZZ, 3! Daniels couldn’t end it in time! It now goes to TNA Legends and Judges to determine who is the winner. Roddy Piper, Larry Zabysko, and Harley Race all get together, and with a vote of 2-1, Christopher Daniels wins the match!) (12-7) Christopher Daniels

Match #4: Raven vs. Sabu
Result: Tables, chairs, tacs, staple guns, nothing was safe in this all out war. Raven even at one point pulls out a kitchen sink from under the ring (I guess the set up crew needed a place to wash their hands). Sabu then brings out a ladder. He charges at Raven, and Raven goes down. He sets up a table and places Raven’s dying body on top, and then sets up the ladder leaning on a turnbuckle. As he runs up the ladder he does a backflip to the table to attack Raven, but Raven wisely moves out of the way. Sabu goes flying through and Raven makes the cover. (17-2) Raven
