Okay, so I want this game really bad, but I don't really know anything about it. When is the release date? Pardonmy ignorance byt do you need a japanese version of the PS2 to play it, or could I order some sort of import.

Wow, and here I thought that Firepro Z was going to be the last Firepro in the series...
Pardon my ignorance, but I haven't completely looked into all the options for import games on my PS2. The main question I have is that I was wondering if there was a boot disc to play foreign games not unlike the one that I have for my Dreamcast to play Firepro D? I mean, I'd like to have an option like that rather than just out and out modding my PS2 to play one foreign game, even if it's one that I know I'd enjoy. If anyone could help answer my question, thank you ahead of time. |

TO play imports are your PS2, the best option will probably be a fliptop. You can do a search online for info. Basically , it's a different top to the PS2, sort of like the original PS, and you can basically swap the disks once it starts to load.... There is a forced swap method that I wouldn't advise.. It basically consists or pulling open the slide and swapping... It can easily fuck up your shit... Then there are mod chips.... Do searches Now if you have one of the new PS2s, I don't know... They already have a flip top on them. That may make it easier, I don't know... My advice is check out gamefaqs for info, or just do searches online... I have a legit Japanese ps2 that is slightly modded to play burns.... So I really don't know much about what ya need. Also, the edit mode looks bad ass. Looks like for once you can actually edit the premade faces.. YAY!!! And a legit cage match.. Hmmmm. |

I'm not 100% positive on this, but I believe that the Gameshark or the Action Replay or an add on to one of those can be used to play imports.

Put in a boot up disc, then open it from the top, and put in the game. |

4 costumes/ 1 moveset per edit slot. (Possibly the best news to come out so far.) There is an american fed, but the only new wrestlers from Z are A.J. Styles, Pete Williams, and two as of yet unidentified wrestlers. American Dragon is in New Japan(gee!) and Lo-ki is in Zero-One Max. A lot of independant wrestlers from Michinoku, Osaka, DDT, Dragon Gate, and Big Japan. More info to come. |

This game is amazing. Not only are there 8-man survivor series style cage matches, but you can do them in the cage, and deathmatches as well.
Menus for edit mode have been completly changed. |
