MTV's Summerslam Promo
 

Anyone else see this shit? While watching "Viva La Bam" tonight on MTV, my girlfriend (I was out) saw what would have been the original SS TV spot. It started off with the normal "car wash" opening scene, but then promoted:

- HHH/Ric Flair
- Cena/Edge (title match)
- Orton/Taker
- Hassan/Batista (title match)
- Hogan/HBK

I wish I would of seen this myself. Just wondering if anyone else caught it tonight.

I thought MTV was mad at WWE for some reason.

i knew there was a rumour going around that one or the other was going to make a face turn. they killed that off when HHH tweaked his knee during HITC.

Besides, its Cena/Jericho and Batista/JBL. MTV need to get their facts straight. HHH/Flair will probably be held off till Survivor Series

yeah yeah. we all know what it is going to happen next sunday. it thing about this promo is that this is how it was supposed to be (everything got fucked up by hardy and hassan).

I'm glad it did, that's a horrible card. Edge in the main event, at Summerslam? Jesus christ, why don't they just give all their money to TNA and cut out the delay?

Hassan/batista = ratings.

Edge IS the number-one contender. Let us not forget the money-in-the-bank match.

I reckon the bookers are so stupid they've forgot why Edge has that suitcase.

When someone says the Bookers, I always think of a sitcom involving Sharmell and T. You know, like "The Bookers is filmed infront of a live studio audience"...

*THE BOOKERS*

Booker T (calling out from a locked bathroom) - "Hey, honey, where did all the tiolet paper go"
Sharmell - "Oh I'm sorry, T, I used it all to get my make-up off"
Booker T - "Tell me you didn't say that!"

Sharmell - "Uh, really? How much?"
