no, Billie still plays guitar when they are live...The other guy is too add more depth to the live songs that they had on the album (effects, fills, etc)

Nirvana also had a guitarist with them at times (pat smear was his name I believe)

When I saw Green Day at Milton Keynes, Billie was running all over the stage like a headless chicken. He must have played less than 50% of the time.

Queen Had Spike Edney and I think Mike Moran onstage.

The Who had Simon Townshend actually play guitars at one point.

It's not like having another guitarist instage is an indication of much.
