Great movie. Just got back from it. I haven't seen Wedding Crashers yet, so I can't make an informed statement on whether this is funnier, but it's going to be hard to top. I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard in a theater (of course, that may have more to do with the fact that I generally see dramas and action flicks in theater and rent comedies...).

Carell nailed that part, and the supporting cast was phenomenal. Glad to see Seth Rogen in a semi-major role. And am I the only one who's going to have a hard time imagining Elizabeth Banks as sweet Miss Brant in the Spider-Man movies now?

Dunno, I thought this owned Wedding Crashers, mainly cause I find Steve Carell to be severely rofl.

That was by far the best comedy of the year, IMO. It was funny, but at the same time you cared about the character. My favorite part was the joke about the store manager constantly playing the same Michael McDonald DVD in the store for years.
