LMAO @ SmackDown! (Spoilers)

- "The Network". Enough said.

- Chris Benoit making a cup of coffee and timing it against his Summerslam match with OJ. LMFAO.

Evil Vito 08-25-2005 10:05 PM

They should have a Chris Benoit coffee invitational every week :shifty:

- Stolen from Mike the Metal Ed :(

Nervous Ferret 08-25-2005 10:30 PM

ROFL @ Ken Kennedy

Batsu 08-25-2005 10:40 PM

LOL, The Network = RTC 2K5.

And yet, it works.

ThruTheWire 08-25-2005 10:42 PM

lol @ eddies "im your papi" shirt.

Evil Vito 08-25-2005 11:19 PM

Smackdown was MUCH better than Raw this week, IMO

Actually, I've been enjoying Smackdown more than Raw as of late...shame I won't see it on Fridays

ThruTheWire 08-25-2005 11:19 PM

This week's raw kicked ass man.

loopydate 08-25-2005 11:40 PM

This was the best week for both RAW & SmackDown, imo, since the week before One Night Stand with the ECW run-ins. And, I for one, am jumping on the Ken Kennedy (KENNEDY!) bandwagon.

Nervous Ferret 08-25-2005 11:42 PM

I am on as well, but am prepared to jump off as soon as they start a Kennedy/Tony Chimmel fued. :shifty:

Evil Vito 08-25-2005 11:55 PM

I'm on too, that was hilarious

Kane Knight 08-26-2005 12:00 AM

The Network was gold.

More people need to piss off the WWE. They seem to get more creative when insulted.

loopydate 08-26-2005 12:13 AM

Does anybody know who this network guy is? Is he an actual wrestler? I hope they really go somewhere with this, like ECW did in its later days whe Cyrus represented the network. Have him assemble a few like-minded superstars in a "creative control" role.

Loose Cannon 08-26-2005 12:15 AM

yea, I loved it. I was also an RTC mark, so this shoudl entertain me

He looks familliar.

Kane Knight 08-26-2005 12:49 AM

Then again, that could be just because he has a similar demeanor to Hassan's lawyer

KingofOldSchool 08-26-2005 12:51 AM

JBL should be apart of this, he could be UPN's "ideal" champion or some shit like that.

The Naitch 08-26-2005 12:51 AM

this Ken Kennedy crap makes me cringe. Cringe...

I'm sure he will have a stable built around him soon enough. He's got pretty decent heat already.

He's already said the network's on his side...

Innovator 08-26-2005 12:54 AM

So they are tired of rehashing old WWF storylines, now they have to do old ECW TNN storylines?

Wait until they start in on the WCW storylines. We'll have alot of fun then.

I don't know if JBL was full of shit or not, but he did say that they were on his side.

Loose Cannon 08-26-2005 12:57 AM

I thought it was Chris Nowinski for a couple seconds actually.

Jaton 08-26-2005 12:57 AM

Maybe his world title run last year would've been better if he did things like that.

Watson 08-26-2005 01:01 AM

Did you guys see Kennedy's finisher? Crazy shit. If he botches that then either he or the guy he's doing the nove on is gonna get hurt BADLY.

Yeah , that's one not to botch.

loopydate 08-26-2005 01:04 AM

Yeah, that was a great move. Reminds me of something I would have made up on my Hulk Hogan Wrestling Buddy when I was seven years old. You know, something that shouldn't be physically possible, but because it was stuffed...

Jaton 08-26-2005 01:06 AM

What did he do? I missed it.

Fortunately, he's been pretty tight in the ring.

However, one false move, and BAM!

From the turnbuckle, he hoisted Funaki on his shoulders, and flippedover, slamming him into the ground. I can't remember the name, but I've seen it done before.

loopydate 08-26-2005 01:10 AM

Kind of like what Lance Storm used to do, except Kennedy did it off the middle turnbuckle.

Probably looks more dangerous than it actually is, but it looks awesome. Could be just what this guy needs to get majorly over really fast.

Splaya 08-26-2005 01:18 AM

 when Hardcore came out.

The Alabama Slama.

Wtf.

Wtf.

They've been calling him that for ages on Velocity. Lame as fuck.

darkpower 08-26-2005 01:29 AM

Also, the guy from "The Network", if anyone caught it, named SmackDown the "flagship show".

Wonder what was up with that.

Well, not like he's going to call it "WWE's B-Show"

loopydate 08-26-2005 01:32 AM

I think he meant that it was UPN's flagship show. 'Cause, you know, it's the one people watch.

Nervous Ferret 08-26-2005 01:40 AM

Now come on. R U The Girl wit T-Boz and Chili is watchable

PureHatred 08-26-2005 01:50 AM

SD is hot. Loving Orton again. And I honestly think his ring work has improved.

The Benoit segment was gold.

And the Network guy is great, because he'll make Teddy Long bearable.

:y: Smackdown.
