And it fucking rocks. It's like Spider-Man 2 on roids. Basic control is the same, save for minor tweaks to accomodate the different super-powers. I love how Hulk isn't nearly as refined as Spider-Man in terms of movement. He slides around when he runs full speed, if he grabs a wall (like Spider-Man but sloppier) after falling fom the sky, he slides to a halt, instead of just sticking. The soldiers communicate with each other and even report exactly what you're doing to their superior officers. If you hit one while he is speaking, he will stop mid sentence.

I've only played for like 10 minutes, but I'm liking it so far.

yeah, this game is seriously the balls, i've gotten to the point where i can just throw tanks like an olympic hammer thrower, i can jump on helicopters and piledrive hulk bots :D, among many, many other moves

I've only played the demo so far.

But PileDriving cops is the shit.

It's not out here for another 2 weeks, but I'll definately be picking it up.

I've got the demo and it's pretty good, don't know if I'll actually buy it though.

I mean, the idea of running around and beating shit up sounds like it gets tiresome.

Never mind how do you beat the hulk buster prototype?

That was actually easier than the convoy mission. Target one hulkbuster, knock it out of the air, beat it up a little, grab it and toss it at the others. Fairly easy, but if the get a hold of you, it does a fair bit of damage.

And KK, the game is sort of like Spider-Man 2. Eventually, you will run out of stuff to do, but you'll always pick it up and play it once in a while. That and there are a crapload more moves than in SM2.

This is so much fun. The sheer giddy thrill of knocking down a helicopter, then using it as a javelin to take down another helicopter... It's like GTA if it were written by Jose Canseco.

you can't grab it...i beat it by throwing rocks at it though and used steel fists for the convoy.

I'm trying to have fun with the demo, but they don't give me enough time to play around. I hope they know its shit like this that leads me to piracy.

Oh, the second edition prototype? Yeah, start by taking out the receiver dishes and if any first edition prototypes come out, beat em up and toss them at the big one. And use rocks and trucks and shit.

I love how just when the game gets repetitive, 8057689754687 more moves get unlocked.

Two words: COW TOSSING!

I eventually took out the two receivers, but I got some major health from beating down the first editions. Even then I had to run like a little girl to get away from the first editions. Seriously, though, If I had some of the moves from the next chapter in the convoy missions, it would be much easier.

Easiest way around the convoy was just run and jump like hell to the front of the line to take out the truck, then take your time and pretty much snipe tanks one by one before getting to the trigger point to take on the next convoy. Taking out tanks, launchers, etc get you some health.

The helicopter skyjack is my favorite move, followed closely by the always effective missle grab. I haven't had much time to bust out the hammer throw yet, but it's awesome. A decently charged ground pound followed by a dashing straight does some good damage to tanks, too. If you don't have the skyjack for the copters, yet, I'd suggest going for the air combo on it.

I tried the sky jack then said this was gay and never tried that mission again.

After reading this thread I'm tempted to get it. I think I'll play the demo abit more before making a purchase.

I was going to buy it today, but Game seem to have massively hacked back on their Gamecube stock, so I'll need to wait a few days for my copy to arrive from Play.

Lately we've been getting more of those multiplatform hit games, so no complaints from me. Also, all the new Nintendo games within the next 6 months or so and of course DAY OF RECKONING 2.

I bought it earlier, but left it at work so I probably wont play it till Sunday :(

Wasn't like they didn't have any stock, they still had a decent amount of the more recent games, but no sign of the Hulk game. Think a lot of their Nintendo space got taken over by the PSP...

Bizzarely they did have the shit original Hulk game that came out around the time of the movie though.

I saw a game being previewed on Cybernet (UK) and it had the Hulk doing all this crazy jumps accross skylines, and throwing shit into buildings and it looked like a marvel war of the monster but 100 times better.

I thought it was this game but it isnt. The one I saw had the X men and Spiderman in it too, I asked someone in the shop and they said its Marvel Nemesis or something.

I suggests you check that one out it looked better than this one.

That'd be Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects, which is just a vaguely tarted up one on one beat 'em up. Looks nice graphically, but no clue if it'll be any good.

Not really a superhero game in the mould of Ultimate Destruction...

It doesn't help that Cybernet is on at a really stupid hour. Its a good show though.
