Remember Wrestle War on the Sega Megadrive?
 

Was that not one of the most random games ever? I can't remember at any time knowing the correct combinations for any moves. THis might have just been me being young however. I just remember pressing a load of buttons and your guy would do a piledriver or something. I saw it a games shop the other day and was quite tempted to pick it. They were selling Megadrives for £18 and games for like £2. I remember when you had to sell an organ to buy games back then. Quite tempted to play that Wrestle War game to be honest.

I've still got my Mega Drive, I've never heard of that game before though..

It was an old one, I'm talking like around when the Megadrive first came out with games like Altered Beast etc

A lot of people might not remember it, If I remember correctly it was only released in europe for the MD. It was an arcade game in the states though. Go & check out the Dreamcast game Sega Smash Pack, It has Wrestle War on it plus Shining Force & a bunch of other Genesis classics :love:

Was that the one where your guy looked like Rugged Ronnie Garvin? And you had to face knock-offs of Hogan, The roadwarriors, and Casey Jones of Ninja Turtles Fame?
