Ultimo Dragon Interested In Signing With TNA

From Wrestlezone.com:

Former WWE & WCW Wrestler Interested In Signing With TNA

-- The Wrestling Observer newsletter reports that Ultimo Dragon has been sending feelers to TNA about getting a contract with the company.

Dragon was offered matches with Christopher Daniels at the past two PPV events by TNA, but due to scheduling conflicts he couldn't work the dates. Another issue is that at the time he had work in Japan, and didn't want to get on WWE's bad side for when he comes back to the U.S.

However, now that he has fulfilled all of his bookings in Japan. and WWE has not contacted him, he is interested in working for TNA under a contract. TNA has shown interest in Ultimo Dragon, but it is unclear whether they would want to sign him to a contract or not.

All I can say is "wow". That would be fucking awesome to see Ultimo Dragon wrestling some of TNA's best X-Division wrestlers such as Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, AJ Styles, and Sabu. Great fucking possibilities there. Funky Fly'll be glad to hear this.

Nice. Put all those belts on him again. Even if he's not the champion, just throw a whole bunch of belts on him.

Dave Youell 08-30-2005 07:14 PM

Who?

*slips*

PureHatred 08-30-2005 07:15 PM

If he's anywhere near 100%, Dragon v Daniels would tear the fucking roof off.

Kane Knight 08-30-2005 07:38 PM

YAY!

WOW! This would be a great addition to TNA.

I wish Juvi, Psichosis, and Super Crazy wouldn't have signed with E but rather TNA. I mean, granted they probably thought of more money and financial security...but at least TNA would've given them more dignity and freedom when it comes to wrestling moves.

KayfabeMan 08-30-2005 08:08 PM

What is to debate here TNA?

Sign the fucking guy so you can waste him in sorry matches and sad storylines like you do with everyone else. I mean seriously, Jarrett needs a new tag partner. :shifty:

Loose Cannon 08-30-2005 08:10 PM

Seriously

I remember when I first saw him in WCW and he had all these belts, I really thought he was the most dangerous wrestler in the world. That's the truth.

Savio 08-30-2005 08:11 PM

Have raven beat Rhyno then Jarrte comes out and says look behind you and ultimo hits Raven with ummmmmmm uhhhhh I dunno an Axe?

RemyRed 08-30-2005 08:28 PM

Nah he'll be an X-Division guy, meaning he'll just debut with no build up whatsoever, and be fed week after week to Abyss.

Kane Knight 08-30-2005 08:33 PM

And have no storyline, no direction, no "it" factor...

JH 08-30-2005 08:55 PM

if he signs that will be awesome
i would love to see ultimo vs daniels like purehatred said but i would also love ultimo vs aj and ultimo vs samoa joe

Yes because all wreslters care about it dignity, not the money.

OR bleed wwe dry for money now while they want you, then when Vince bans all the other cruiserweight moves, say like a sunset flip for instance all the cruisers will be fired and then move to TNA

Kane Knight 08-31-2005 04:01 AM

I'm not sure what dignity there is in playing second fiddle to a bunch of hasbeens.

So the WWE and TNA are more or less even ground.

Chavo Classic 08-31-2005 07:41 AM

TNA looks like it could put together a good show when its debuts on Spike. Wouldn't necessarily be any real threat to WWE, but still competition.

Impact! 08-31-2005 07:46 AM

An alternative is always good.
